  1. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2133457/Barcelona-v-Chelsea-Cuneyt-Cakir-referee.html?ITO=1490 "UEFA have appointed Turkish referee Cuneyt Cakir to take charge of Chelsea's Champions League semi-final second leg clash with Barcelona on Tuesday." Suprised it's not a Scandinavian referee..
  2. Why don't you do it? Looks like the perfect person for it.
  3. FINALLY, we got to see him play again yesterday since February! Did alright but he might have felt a bit rusty I suppose.
  4. But you can get arrows on my link!
  5. Or this. http://this11.com/boards/editor
  6. Don't get me wrong. I have no problem whether you used FM pitches or not..
  7. Happy Birthday to Mikel too. It's also his 25th birthday today.
  8. Happy Birthday to the geezer that is David Luiz! It's his 25th birthday today.
  9. Cannot believe that the Villa fans booed Martin O'Neill in his return to Villa Park yesterday. Can understand they may be feeling bitter for the way he left just before the season started a couple of years ago but surely, they must have appreciated what he has done for the club and especially after he guided them to 3 consecutive 6th place finish!
  10. That prick Vermaelan! Can't believe he was dirty enough to went in with an elbow on Terry's back to challenge for the ball! Absolutely disgusting!
  11. Maybe I'm just being paranoid here but I'm still cautious and perhaps even pessimistic about our chances on Tuesday despite Barcelona losing yesterday. I know their players maybe tired for such a flat performance last night but it just seems as though that they had given up on La Liga and was just conserving their energy for second leg. There just wasn't any urgency, pressing, tempo etc from them yesterday. It was the worst Barcelona performance I've seen in ages!
  12. A couple of stats after El Clasico.. Last time Barcelona lost 3 consecutive games in all competitions was back in 2003 - Valencia, Celta Vigo & Atletico Madrid. Last time Barcelona failed to win in 3 consecutive matches was in 2012. Drew against Real Madrid, Villarreal & Valencia. Lionel Messi failed to find the net in 12 of the 13 games in all competitions that Barcelona failed to win this season.
  13. First win for Mourinho in 10 visits to the Camp Nou and this is arguably his most comfortable match up there. On Barcelona, they just don't look interested at all. Maybe they are just tired but they were so flat that it was as if they had conceded the title and just conserving their energy ahead of the 2nd leg!
  14. No Taarabt against us next Sunday..
  15. They would surely look stretch us because we'll be playing and most likely defend very narrow and make the center area very congested.
  16. Do think that Guardiola will probably start with his 3-3-4 against us by playing Tello & Alves both out wide to stretch us.
  17. Thought he was excellent again today. Kept Walcott quiet and he showed he's got the burst of pace in him when he ran past Sagna at 1 point in the first half only to be pushed down.
  18. We are unbeaten in 525 minutes of football(5 3/4 games) when Terry has partnered with Cahill in defence. P7 W4 D3 vs Stoke(H) 1-0 vs Tottenham(H) 0-0 vs Villa(A) 4-2 [came on Luiz at end of 1st half and pretty much played for 45 mins here] vs Fulham(A) 1-1 vs Tottenham(N) 5-1 [came on for Luiz in the 60th minute. So, 30 mins here] vs Barcelona(H) 1-0 vs Arsenal(A) 0-0 In fact, England are unbeaten in 4 games(full 90 mins each) when Terry has played with Cahill in defence. P4 W3 D1 vs Bulgaria(A) 3-0 vs Wales(H) 1-0 vs Montenegro (A) 2-2 vs Sweden(H) 1-0
  19. Well, think we have broken all sorts of record this season in Roman's reign. This will just be another IF it happens...
  20. But they did in the past, didn't they...?
  21. Personally, I wouldn't worry too much if Newcastle win today. Would be more concerned if Tottenham do get the victory.
  22. Beginning to get really frustrated with Sturridge. He's just throwing his toys out of the pram & sulking on the pitch whenever he plays now..
