Back to his previous position in central midfield. His energy, pace, tenacity, stamina and work rate would be vital in that midfield if we are to field the attacking for of 'Hazard-Mata-Hulk-Torres'. However, in the big games especially away from home, he could be used as a defensive winger on either flank to deal with the attacking fullback and/or winger like how he has done under RDM and would be extremely useful on the counter with his energy and pace.

No. Totally disagree with that. At his age, he needs to be playing week in week out to gain experience. Sitting on the bench and playing the odd game here and there next season would not help his development at all. He needs to be loaned out again next season and if Paul Lambert do stay at Norwich, then I think a move there could be very beneficial. Worse come to worst, a loan move to the Championship might be ideal too!

Let's face it, they'll probably be up there again at some point in the future. As of now though, we thought they might challenge for the Top 4 and finish in there under Dalglish this past season but look what happened. All depends on what players they get. IF Rodgers purchases all the average English talents like Dalglish did, then expect another finish outside the Top 4.
