Hulk and Lampard would probably take the FKs directly facing the goal especially when the former can hit a rocket free kick like Alex. Anything that is to either side probably goes to Mata and Hazard as think they are capable of placing the FK into the net.

On players like Schurrle or Lavezzi. Both can play wide and upfront when needed. Only thing Hulk has over them is his physical strength, that would give us an edge in the attacking third.

IF people are gonna start comparing 30m+ transfer deals with Carroll's, then every one of those is gonna be a bargain. The fact is Carroll is nowhere near worth 35m and so is Hulk if you look at it in isolation. Around 30m for Hulk would probably be fine but 38m?! That is just OTT!

Yup. They don't really have a big squad and Bielsa hardly rotates them. Had a long compaign with the Europa League included and it didn't exactly help them either with the fact that they play a high energy pressing, attacking game under Bielsa.

Apologies. Got flustered last night because over something at the time of post. On the subject, there were plenty of boardroom battles in Barcelona back then, Rijkaard weren't exactly getting the results on the pitch either and if you look through his Barcelona reign and their results, you will see how inconsistent they are compared to Guardiola's Barcelona. As a result of that, players became delusional & weren't performing due to the state of the club and there were some players that just generally weren't performing anymore.
