According to RMC Radio(from France), Newcastle have made a bid worth €5m for Debuchy. Would be pissed if we don't go for him given that he is unlikely to cost anything more than 10m!
Would have liked to see him in the Premier League. Looks a real intelligent manager and one who knows exactly what he is doing. Shame that he has decided to go to Russia.
According to reports in France, Giroud will complete his move to Arsenal on 4-year deal after EURO2012. http://www.francefootball.fr/#!/news/2012/06/18/161017_giroud-aurait-choisi-arsenal.html
Looking at the December fixtures, it certainly looks simple & straightforward, on a paper at least, with Everton being the exception. November ones look slightly tricky with Liverpool & Man City in there.
1. Wigan away in first game. Meh. 2. Newcastle at home first. Tough. 3. Very tricky matches during the Christmas period - Villa(H), Norwich(A) & Everton(A). 4. Last 3 away games - Liverpool, Man Utd and Aston Villa. Bloody hell.
Worst striker? Harsh. World class striker? No. Average striker? Yes. And remember this? http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/chelsea/8313296/Chelsea-had-bid-for-Mario-Gomez-turned-down-by-Bayern-Munich-before-Fernando-Torres-move-from-Liverpool.html
Regardless, it's not the type of striker we should be going for. A big, tall and physical striker similar to Drogba is what we should be getting, if we are to get a new striker this summer.
Why are you people even assuming that the other lads don't speak French?! As I said, Essien and Cech are capable of speaking French too. And heck, perhaps RDM even knows how to communicate in French!
