  1. How can you say Hazard is a better penalty taker than Lampard? Both takes it in a different manner and both excels in it. And yes, Hazard's penalty conversion rate is higher but Lampard's is not exactly one to be looked down upon either. He has only missed like 3-4 penalties for us in his entire time here! Hazard may have scored all the penalties in his club career so far but that doesn't mean he's going to keep on scoring every time either.
  2. If the Swansea game was anything to go by, then I would probably stick with Ivanovic and Cahill at CB again but doubt that is gonna happen.
  3. Option 3 because the obvious big game is there. That said, if you want to watch QPR getting smashed more, then go for the 2nd option.
  4. Meh. No yellow for Suarez. Liverpool travel to Russia to face Anzhi this coming Thursday in the Europa League. So 'Agent Hiddink', do your thing...
  5. Think Benfica are alright. Porto must have been pissed with us since we took Mourinho away from them!
  6. Dealing with Porto again? No thanks! They will just try to rip us off again, like they always do!
  7. Here's some encouraging stats: 1. Shakhtar have failed to win any of their previous 4 trips to London in UEFA Competitions - D1 L3. 2. Juventus have drawn their last 9 matches in UEFA Competitions.
  8. Yes he does, under the 'Reserves & Youth Teams' section. Moved.
  9. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/news-and-comment/the-last-word-mums-dying-wish-shames-chelsea-stance-8280529.html That is just pathetic from the media. How on earth could they even relate an incident in the Hillsborough with this Clattenburg case?! Absolutely ridiculous!
  10. Regardless, to even joke about someone's death is not a funny matter. You wouldn't be happy if someone were to joke about you getting killed, would you?
  11. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2227496/Roberto-Di-Matteo-says-Shakhtar-game-biggest-Chelsea-test-Munich.html?ito=feeds-newsxml RDM has said this will be our biggest game since that night in Munich.
  12. No doubt the referees will be helping out as well...
  13. Not saying he should be taking all the blame but he has been poor recently. Not been playing at his usual standards. And he was partly at fault for United's second goal. His decision not to back track when Rafael was coming forward(Hazard was tracking him) allowed Valencia to have so much space to bomb down the right flank to create Van Persie's goal was criminal. As an experienced and world class defender, you would expect better decision making from him and not one like Luiz.
  14. Shot dead?! Honestly, people need stop posting comments like that talking about the misery of others! As much as we all dislike Torres, there is no need to be making remarks like that!
  15. Think he is either still being affected by his ankle problem OR his head has gone elsewhere after the breakdown in contract talks with the club. Yes but let's not also forget that Hazard isn't always the one playing in front of him. Moses and Oscar rotated and at times played in front of Cole and helped him too defensively.
  16. As much as this was a disappointing result, all is not lost in the league yet. We are only 1 point behind United though it has to be said that their next 5 league games are way easier than ours and Man City. Man United's next 5 PL games: Aston Villa(A) Norwich(A) QPR(H) West Ham(H) Reading(A) Chelsea's next 5 PL games: Liverpool(H) West Brom(A) Man City(H) Fulham(H) West Ham(A) Man City's next 5 PL games: Tottenham(H) Aston Villa(H) Chelse(A) Wigan(A) Everton(H) Spurs I would imagine judging by the fans' reaction towards AVB at White Hart Lane. They face Man City and Arsenal in their next two league games and both are away from home.
  17. 49 and OUT for Juventus, just like Arsenal.
  18. No news on that yet but we all definitely hope so. He was missed against Swansea today.
  19. Juventus. Controversy. Two words that fits each other perfectly.
  20. He just scored his first Madrid goal against Zaragoza.
  21. Goodness me. Here we go again. When would people ever realize that he is in good form right solely because Moyes is playing him mainly behind the ST?!! He was absolutely useless when Moyes played him as a defensive midfielder. Poor passing ability. Immobile. Slow on the ball. And makes rash challenges!
  22. 1. Arsenal are hopeless, as always. Can't depend on them doing anything against United. Pathetic! 2. Wigan won at the Lane. AVB! And here's an interesting fact, 4 of Spur's 5 PL win this season have come against teams who currently sit in the bottom 4 - Villa, Southamption, QPR and Reading. 3. Despite Everton receiving plenty of praise for their good start to the league season, they have actually only won 2 of their last 8 games and drawing the last 4 too! 4. Well, at least City drew. Softens the blow of today's result.
  23. An absolute must win game this. Feel our qualification for the KO largely hinges on this game. Do not want to head to Turin on Matchday 5 needing a win. Fail to win this and we'll have massive problems! And oh, Shakhtar head into this game on the back of a 37-game unbeaten run(W35 D2)!
  24. If there is one positive thing to take from today's game, it's the solid CB partnership of Cahill and Ivanovic. Both were no nonsense in their defending and did what was asked of them first and foremost as a defender as both made vital block and interceptions. If this solidity is anything to go by, then I hope we see more of this partnership in the future.
  25. Think it may take him awhile to shake off his rustiness before getting into full flight in the team.
