  1. The coffee has clearly been messing with your brains.
  2. But remember, the mighty England themselves couldn't beat Honduras and against 10 men too. Benzema and France beat them with ease. That's gotta count for something right?
  3. Ramires is obviously not the same player like Essien as the latter is much complete, like you said, but the point is they are similar kind of players who have a specific skill set that not many others have. On their days, they have proved and can be very useful for us. Never mind about complementing the rest of the squad, it's about having variations within the squad. It's almost nonsensical when you have too many similar players and not enough of the grafters to do the dirty work, if you like. One is a player who is already over the hill and the other has had a bad debut season in English season and hardly even knows his best position to shine. Of course, suddenly, Tiago and/or Paulinho are better players than Ramires. It's almost as if Ramires hasn't been judged based on his last 6 awful months here..oh wait!
  4. Just because we suddenly have a team that has good workrate and stamina, doesn't mean all the players have turned into Ramires! I view Ramires in a similar mould to Essien. Great workrate, stamina and energy. We need players like that to complement the technical players within the team. We basically need a water carrier and Ramires is that as he has a specific skill set that not many others have. Like The Skipper alluded to above, it's almost as if people have a short term memory loss or something. Had Ramires been playing like he did before last season, nobody would have wanted him sold but because he's had one-half of rubbish season, people want him out already. Anybody who have seen Ramires at his best would know what he can do and gives to the team. Those who questioned are basing it only on his performances last season. And I'm sorry, if anyone thinks Paulinho or even Tiago(a 33-year old player!) is an upgrade of sorts on Ramires, then that's quite frankly laughable.
  5. All about being streetwise and adapting to the circumstances...unless that is you want to be like Wenger and just play all the attacking players and get thrashed..

  7. Fabregas speaking in a presser for the Spain NT..
  8. Most of the English media outlets here - BBC, Sky Sports, Guardian - have picked up on what Mourinho, apparently, said to Marca.
  9. He has the ability to do so but don't expect him to do the same things like Pirlo. Fabregas is more of a pass-move-pass-move type of player compared to Pirlo.
  10. Selling Ramires is just plain silly, unless it's like for like and a 'better' version of him. The idea of a swap for Modric may sound tempting but in our squad, we need variation of players. Not more similar or same ones and Ramires currently offers things that other players do not.
  11. Diego Maradona slams Spain's Iker Casillas and says Jose Mourinho was right to drop the error-prone goalkeeper The 'god' has spoken.
  12. What's this Skippy ()? You boast so much and sound so confident in predicting our success next season and then you end with this. Hopefully? WTH?! If you wanna boast, boast from start to finish man.
  13. So that means if Mourinho wants someone like Senderos, you will have faith in him too?
  14. It's funny how these days people overreact to players' performance, good or bad, after just 1 game.
  15. There's always a market for skinny fellas...
  16. But the thing is, Aubameyang hasn't always played as a striker for Dortmund. Has more often than played in one of the three positions behind the ST and with Dortmund already not having the biggest of squad depth, one of the reasons why they have fell short in last two seasons, you would think it will be silly on their part to sell Aubameyang..unless somebody offers them some crazy money for him.
  17. Not under Mourinho. Has already said he doesn't want Oscar to be chasing the fullback up and down the flanks.
  18. Think the concern, if anything, about his head being at the right place is the fact that his beloved No.1 English club refused to take him back and had no other choice but to accept our offer. He certainly made it sound like he had no other choice judging by his comment after the transfer was announced. And also, not forgetting his history with us, Lampard and even Mourinho.
  19. Can't help but to feel the state of this thread right now...
  20. But the two teams you stated were lined up in different formations and even then, not sure why people always think just because we play the pivot, it's always 2 DMs.
  21. Oh James. kellzfresh was comparing the mental aspect between Khedira and Ramires but you replied instead something on their physical capabilities. You need a trip to the specsaver mate.
