  1. Guys, please stay on topic and not divert it to something else...
  2. The way some of people are saying we should let Cech go is as if we're keeping him hostage.
  3. Honigstein on our interest in Cavani.
  4. Or maybe, there are spies in the forum.
  5. Copycat! http://forum.talkchelsea.net/topic/18548-vanishing-spray-will-be-used-in-the-barclays-premier-league-from-the-start-of-this-season/?p=954886
  6. Hernandez scores goals but really, he's quite a limited player. Apart from that and maybe just his workrate, he hardly offers anything else in the team's play. You will only see him when you provide him chances in the penalty box. Otherwise, he's practically goes AWOL.
  7. He can play out wide as well, even though we are already stacked in that area as well, but yeah.
  8. Although unlikely, would anyone mind not getting Milner considering he's HG and all? http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/james-milner-puts-renewal-of-vows-with-manchester-city-on-hold-to-play-waiting-game-9641463.html
  9. http://www.football-espana.net/44517/madrid-%E2%80%98force-lopez-out%E2%80%99 'Other' reports didn't mention our interest in Lopez and that clubs like Napoli and Monaco want him...
  10. If the board continues to sack the manager every time we don't win a trophy, we're gonna run out of quality managers to employ in the future. Judging by how positive the board has been acting in the last 1-2 years, you would think they have moved on from the days of pressing the panic button and swing the axe at the manager at the first sign of trouble. Don't think Mourinho will be sacked if we don't win any trophy as long as there is further improvement and progression in the squad.
  11. Not sure if there's any need to bring the Mata comparison again when the discussion has already died down. Both Fabregas and Mata were brought up in different ways and to play in different roles and not sure why you're making it sound as if it was Mata's fault that he couldn't survive under Mourinho. It just so happens that he was looking for players in different positions that will make his system perfect as opposed to one where it's already stocked. TBH, it's just silly when people start to call Mourinho or even the board a genius for selling a player at such a high price. Yes, they play a part in getting that amount but on the other hand, it also comes down to the dumbness or desperation of the other club to pay such amount. Hypothetically, we could have put a 40m price tag on Mata then and United (or anyone else) aren't interested to buy him because he's too pricey. Then what? Is Mourinho and the board silly to put a huge price tag on a player that wasn't first choice and because of that we can't sell him? We all know that Mata has his flaws and there's no question about that but it's quite laughable how some have gone from worshipping and praising him during to his time here to downplaying his qualities and contribution to the club at every given opportunity.
  12. Surprisingly no has voted for Ramires (so far) given all the moanings in his thread.
  13. And has outlasted several players, who we thought will go on to become club legends etc. Depressing
  14. Has? Obviously not. Will? Guess it'll depend on how things progress from here onward.
  15. Typical English CB. WHY DID WE SELL LUIZ?!
  16. Added in a poll regarding the non-HG players in the squad - "We have 19 non-HG players but we can only register 17 players. Which 2 players would you get rid off to stay within the limits?" Just for the record, I know some of the players are unlikely to leave or be sold but added all of them in for formality purpose. And heck, it might even stir some interesting discussions if someone made a controversial vote.
  17. Nah. There are 3 days of training for this game. Likely to play some part in it.
