  1. Sorry about that. Poll changed. Just FTI, the previous pre-season matches' polls had 2 MOTM questions (for starters and subs) because you can only put up to 20 choices/answers for each question and we had used more than 9 subs. So, we couldn't fit all the players into one question and had to separate them.

  3. Apologies for the delay in opening the post-match thread today.

  6. Err, was I even complaining about the tour to Asia? Was just saying it.
  7. Meh. @ is just Seb's iPad wanker!
  8. Fortunately, our manager is Jose Mourinho and not Ryan Davidson.
  9. Drogba on Fabregas.. http://www.espnfc.com.sg/chelsea/story/1965435/diego-costa-backed-to-succeed-in-premier-league-by-chelsea-teammate-didier-drogba
  10. And he's also good friends with Gotze and Lewandowski...
  11. Indeed. Glad the club made the right decision rather than flog the players to death with all those long distance travels. On the other hand, read a piece in Daily Mirror the other day stating that we'll be heading to Asia again next summer.
  12. Yup, it was messed up. Match was set at 4.30pm rather than 6.30 for the countdown timer. Have corrected it. Cheers for pointing that out. Nope. Match kicks off at 6.30pm UK time.
  13. http://metro.co.uk/2014/07/29/liverpool-transfer-boost-as-marco-reus-rejects-new-borussia-dortmund-contract-4813633/ Reus has apparently rejected a new contract at Dortmund according to Bild..
  14. I know he has said that for a year and I'm not even disputing what he has said. All I said was I've been taken aback by all these continuous positive messages. He hasn't just said it 2-3 times, which would be nothing big, but like more than 10(?) times already. We all know Mourinho is conservative/pragmatic by nature and usually leaves room to turn a subject to suit the situation based on how he wants it. But with these positive messages, he has practically put his back against the wall and almost left no room for excuses. It's almost like we're seeing a different Mourinho. Again, I'm not saying that's wrong or anything but just surprising (heck, he even said he should be blamed if we don't produce English players in the next few years!).
  15. Talk about taking the piss. So, it's practically 3 games in 5 days played at 3 different grounds.
  16. It's only 4 weeks. All the WC lads have got 1 month off from the date their tournament ended. Mini tournament in Istanbul??
  17. http://www.chelseafc.com/news/latest-news/2014/07/drogba-takes-15.html Drogba takes the No.15 shirt. Salah will now take the No.17 shirt after Hazard had switched to No.10.
  18. Have to say, Mourinho has certainly pulled no punches with what he has said. He has been sending out the message that "we'll be challenging for the titles", "we are ready to compete" etc and that practically means, should he find any excuses next season, it could well fall flat on his face. Considering Mourinho's nature, am surprised he has taken a bold and initiative approach rather than trying to play the 'underdog' cards. Gonna be interesting to see what happens next season.
  19. No offence but hate it when people use such excuses for mistakes made.
  20. After having missed so many chances and played awfully, it's impossible to feel sorry or sympathetic for Torres anymore. Utterly hopeless.
  21. Am wondering why Cahill just stood off Kapun for the goal. No pressure. No nothing.
