  1. That's probably because he has scored for Spain and is still doing it from time to time, even though he's rubbish these days.
  2. Michael Essien Ebola reports are fake, claim AC Milan
  3. Chelsea fans oppose FA's Premier League proposal of staging a round of matches overseas
  4. Roy Keane takes swipe at Jose Mourinho, labelling Chelsea manager a 'disgrace'
  5. It's even worse if you include the New Year day games and the FA Cup 3rd round. Add those two in and we'll have 5 matches in 14 days! Mon 22nd Dec - Stoke (A) Fri 26th Dec - West Ham (H) Sun 28th Dec - Southampton (A) Thu 1st Jan - Tottenham (A) Sat/Sun 3rd/4th Jan - FA Cup third round At least 3 tough away matches in there. Eeeek!

  7. Generally, think he's one player you would want in the big games because that's where he tends to come alive. But when it comes to playing against the lesser sides, that's where you'll see the worst of Luiz. He played well against Barcelona but in the league game before that versus Toulouse, I read that he was poor and completely all over the place defensively.
  8. Imagine if it was Terry who did that to Sanchez instead......
  9. Wouldn't mind Ivanovic but on the other hand, am skeptical if it comes to that considering that he can combust rather unnecessarily at times.
  10. First five answers there are correct. Hamburg is wrong. The other 2 teams are Hertha Berlin and Munich 1860.
  11. This should be easy - name the 7 German clubs that Chelsea have faced in European competitions.
  12. Petr Cech claims he may quit Chelsea if he doesn't reclaim spot from Thibaut Courtois
  13. To call him arrogant at this point, after the countless thrashings, would be just too kind really.
  14. But one good game against an insipid Villa and suddenly Willian is a world beater? Of course. And if you want to get picky and mentioned that Schurrle could hardly control the ball (apparently so) against Sporting and Arsenal, then you should also remember that Willian failed to do so the same against City. In fact, he couldn't even make simple 5-10-yard passes to save his life! Both of them have made 6 league appearances with Schurrle only starting one game more than Willian - 4 to 3. Hardly much of a difference and overall, it's not like Willian has been consistent in those matches or even just in general. People seem to be exaggerating the so called bad performances of Schurrle in the last 3 games, when they weren't bad at all, just because he didn't score against Bolton from all those shots. Oh well.
  15. Think you can basically apply that to every game, since it's so easy.
  16. Either that fella is pure delusional or one of the more sane fans but is bitter. Arsenal fans must be wishing for the time to come where they can play like us in the big games rather than having to watch a tactically clueless Wenger and their team being out-thought, out-fought and out-gunned.
  17. Doesn't prove anything but inconsistency. And besides, don't think Willian was given the official MOTM. More of some fans' pick anyway.
  18. I wouldn't say Willian is more talented than Schurrle. They both have their own strengths and weaknesses that almost cancel one another out.
  19. Well, Mikel isn't playing much, Ramires is out injured, so some fellas need a scapegoat, a player to constantly moan and exaggerate about...
  20. True but it's to these sides that we frequently dropped points last season and the others didn't have Tony Pulis. Am confident we can beat Palace but will be slightly cautious at the same time.
  21. Hey, I'm supposed to be the one providing the stats!
