  1. Manchester United vs Chelsea POST-MATCH DISCUSSION AND ANALYSIS 2014/15 Premier League Match 9 26th October, Sunday, 2014 Old Trafford 16:00 Kick Off (UK time)
  2. Of course you can have an opinion. I'm just disputing the fact that you are writing him off after a few games this season.
  3. Precisely my point. And speaking about his positioning being terrible, are any of the United players' positioning even great right now? They look a total mess under Van Gaal. Put Shaw in our team, under Mourinho's guidance and I'm sure things would be different.
  4. Never mind that it is Shaw, but talk about writing a player off after just a few matches...
  5. A while back, I made a notion on how Oscar lost a big part of his mobility for a very long time. One of Oscar's strengths, so that's before the big dip in form, is how he is constantly on the move, moving all over the pitch, always providing his team mates with a passing option. And what makes this even better, is that he does it at a high pace. There are some others who do the same, but they do it at a walking pace. It seems to be back in his game this season and that's a great boost for the team. Look at his touches vs Palace, he was present all over. Now it's up to him to keep it up throughout the entire season. Someone mentioned a rather good point about Oscar's form on Twitter not too long ago - Oscar is similar to Lampard, in the sense that he needs a run of games going in order to play himself into form and make genuine impact in matches. He's not like certain players (like say Hazard) who can just turn it on and put in a great performance if they were suddenly thrown into a game. Otherwise, we're just gonna get the bits and pieces of Oscar.

  7. That aside, I was wondering where on earth was the cover behind Luis back then...
  8. Even if we do that, I doubt he would play much. Would rather see us fill the HG quota with youth players and give them chances to play, if it comes to that.
  9. He did alright against Swansea but dive was pathetic. Almost as if he tried to outdo Lampard's effort the previous day...

  11. After getting a newbie ref in the Palace game, we get another one against Maribor - Danny Makkelie from the Netherlands. This will be his first Champions League match (excluding qualifiers).
  12. Jose Mourinho faces big dates without Diego Costa this week, giving striker 'little chance' of making Sunday's Manchester United match
  13. If Drogba starts this one, it would really be a slap in the face for Remy. I don't care if Maribor is a weak opposition but starting Drogba is a no-no, especially after what happened with Schalke. Play the strongest team possible, secure the win and then give the likes of Drogba playing time. Last thing we need is for us to drop silly points again because of a dodgy lineup, when we can avoid that.
  14. QPR played quite well, better than expected, and were unfortunate to lose. But why on earth they launched the free kick into the penalty area that led to the third goal is beyond me. Utter idiots!
  15. Oh dear. Spike and his sexual fantasies again.
  16. Gotta love all the proclamation that Azpi will lose his place and Luis is first choice now.....
  17. Ryan Bertrand picks his #One2Eleven He picked 8 Chelsea/ex-Chelsea players...in a 3-1-4-2 system.
  18. Nope, according to Mourinho and even if he's fit, think we can accord not to play him. We should have more than enough in our locker to beat Maribor.
