I don't even think that's his fault. It's too easy sometimes to blame goalkeepers in such situations. If anything, I would look at the defensive organization when that attack happened. We were all over the place and had players almost just jogging back, rather busting their gut to get back. We basically gave QPR a free shot at us. Moreover, how did that fella at the side (can't see or remember who was that) bypassed our defender and got down the byline so easily?!

Slightly disagree with that. His early season form shouldn't be a surprise TBH. Including the previous 2 seasons, he has always started the season on fire - scoring goals, creating tons of chances, assisting others - before reverting to his 'crappy' self. And he seems to be heading back to that form.

Gosh, I knew the game wasn't going to be easy but that was quite an average performance. Was almost as if I had been taken back to last season, watching the uninspiring performances and struggling to break down the lesser sides. We looked dodgy at the back and were struggling to create chances. Felt extremely relief when Hazard scored that penalty, thanks Vargas! That being said, having performed at such high levels this season, I guess it's only natural for us to suddenly produce a below-par performance like that. Can only hope this doesn't continue into the upcoming games. Otherwise, I would be really worried (damn you winter period!). On another note, I'm kinda annoyed that we are not keeping clean sheets!

I do not want to react negatively or overreact but blaming the wind?! Where on earth did that excuse come from? Hoping he was just trolling around when he said that.

Nope. I'm absolutely aware that Transfermarkt stated Juninho scored 30 Premier League goals BUT if you look at the 1996/97 season, he actually didn't score against West Ham in the 4-1 home win, despite them stating he did. Go through the match details of that game (and I mean other sources, not Transfermarkrt), you would realize he didn't score against them. The goalscorers on that day were Emerson, Robbie Mustoe, Fabrizio Ravanelli and Philip Stamp. In other words, he only scored 12 league goals that season, not 13 as they claimed.

Second home league game, third overall. Already beat Hertha Berlin 2-0 in Gelsenkirchen 2 weeks ago.
-
Wrong. Juninho did score 29 goals in the Premier League and Oscar currently has 14. Juninho 1995/96 - 2 1996/97 - 12 1999/00 - 4 2002/03 - 3 2003/04 - 8 Oscar 2012/13 - 4 2013/14 - 8 2014/15 - 2

Didn't know we are not playing any other games between now and then.

Can't help but to when he said "The decision to leave was a personal one because I needed more, I needed to feel important,". Should have made himself important first...

Oscar, this is your target...

Excellent work Newcastle. With City out, even more desperate than before in wanting us to win the League Cup. As for the quarter finals draw, not the worst tie but could have been slightly better. Will be a tricky tie, just like the FA Cup game there last season, but a winnable one nonetheless.

It's still going to be a tough game but they are beatable. And it's Gelsenkirchen.

Just checked the stats - Under Mourinho, we have actually lost the first league game in November in three of the four seasons (excluding 07/08). Our only win was back in the 2004/05 season against Everton. Since then, we have lost to Man United, Tottenham and Newcastle but it should be pointed out that those 3 matches were all away from home. Overall, our first league game record in November for the past 10 seasons reads (earliest to latest) - WLLDW WLWDL

The quarter-finals draw will take place after the matches tonight. The ties will be played in mid December.
