Given we have a tough run of fixtures in January, was hoping we got Sheffield United instead. To get Liverpool is just . Anyway, we could potentially face them in three straight games if we draw them in the FA Cup, assuming both of us win the third round ties.

In case anyone is wondering, the semi final draw will take place after Bournemouth v Liverpool tonight (the match starts at 7.45pm UK time).

Into the semi-finals! Desperately want us to win the League Cup. It's been way too long since we last did it.

Don't think Manchester City are the overwhelming favourites but they certainly have a good chance of beating Barcelona over two legs, especially if they can get the likes of Aguero fully fit and firing. Barcelona have hardly been convincing this season (or for the past 2 seasons) and have relied on individual qualities to win them games. There's nothing cohesive about them at the moment and beyond their front line, they are almost average. The worst part is, in 22 matches this season, Luis Enrique has played 22 different lineups, which is just plain ridiculous! He said he wants to keep his players on their toes and their opponents guessing but it does seem more of a case of him not knowing what his best side is.
