  1. If it doesn’t work, then we will sack him and win the CL with the interim manager 🤪
  2. As I said here previously, I don’t see the hype with Tchou, but happy to be proven wrong if he’s in blue, our blue. If we were to sign Cama instead of Tchou/Rice, then we’d definitely need to upgrade our creativity in a big big way, no issues with having Kante and Cama, pressure press isn’t even the phrase for that, but we are lacking against teams who sit back.
  3. May be an unpopular opinion, but its quite sad to see how he has regressed over the last 6 months or so, maybe a touch longer. Result of not getting regular game time or feeling not valued perhaps. Still got bags of talent, but seriously needs a good loan spell to a footballing side, not a relegation dog fight.
  4. I just think they don’t ‘tolerate’ a non attacking brand, that’s the excuse they used with Jose toward the end, it’s fine when you’re winning, but as soon as things go south everybody jumps on the bandwagon and I think it’ll be Conte’s downfall mixed with his ego.
  5. DOF will be hit or miss, ultimately, smart by Levy as it takes the flak away from him on transfers. Don’t get me wrong, the guy made some good calls on transfers, but also some awful ones. Give me 10 transfers and I’m sure I’d get some right.......right? 😆 Anyway, I back TT to outsmart any manager now. Realistically Spurs will play back 3, be more solid and play effective football.. but that’s not the Spurs way right? 🤣
  6. More and more reports saying he’s en route to finalise. This could be a disaster, they have to sell Kane in order to spend and imagine letting Conte have free reign over 150m. At least they’ve had sense to appoint a DOF. They simply have no cash to spend without selling Kane, so I imagine that’ll be a condition and I firmly believe they make top 4, long term I think it’s an awful move.
  7. The man has no loyalty, that’s been shown before, so no need to anybody. Serial winner. Hopefully prices himself out of the move.
  8. Conte will definitely get them back into top 4, that is a guarantee, he is a winner. What comes after that ie. once he has achieved his INITIAL target? We all know that, Inter knows that, his ego takes over and we will watch it burn.
  9. Project and Conte do not mix, he will, however, get them back into the top 4 no doubt. the problem is that Spurs may be stuck with the Zappecosta’s of this world when they sack him after he achieves his first target.
  10. What seriously is Florentino’s thinking here? That if they get banned from UCL then Carlo will just muddle on? Which is true, but still, what message does that send to the squad? I can’t imagine they are thrilled with the appointment.
  11. Be very surprised if Poch goes back to Spurs and ultimately I’ll feel very sorry for Kane because they’ll have spent the compensation for Poch, rumoured to be £10m in order to save selling Kane, guilt trip him into staying yet again. I can even see Spurs letting Aurier go back to PSG to avoid paying the comp to PSG for Poch.
  12. Each their own opinion, I hate seeing that in the papers from any player, irresponsible and happens far too often for someone who is playing for a top club, it’s one thing seeing a player out having a good time, it’s another seeing someone arguing with staff, can’t stand up without help and is falling over. I wouldn’t be so disappointed if he is doing it on the pitch and performing, like Grealish, but he doesn’t, he simply wastes away and collects his money and I cannot wait to get rid. As I said though, it’s a real shame because he has bundles of talent and it’s a typical English footballer of that type ie. hyped up and comes crashing down. I was excited when we signed him, we were due to get him previously for 30m I think and even then I thought that was a steal. I think the club realistically would do well to get 25m, possibly even to West Ham actually, Moyes etc. Perhaps use in a Rice deal with Tammy too.
  13. Quite funny how we were last in and first out but all I seemed to read at the time was that City were our first, they’ve done the right thing and we’re all sat here like “sorry what’s that?” The favour shown toward City in the media is just diabolical, makes it all the more sweeter that we did the business in Porto. indeed quite strange how all the rest have got away with it aswell, especially Arsenal and Spurs.
  14. I think it’s achievable to get 25m for him in current market from a Villa or Newcastle. Real shame, bored of seeing him tarnish the club with his antics after two malibus.
  15. To be honest, had such high hopes for him when he decided to take himself away from that life up North and make a go of it at a big team. What a waste of clear talent. Typical English hyped up player with bundles of talent who pisses it away thinking he’s made it.
  16. First times I have seen him was vs Brentford, and I couldn’t see what the hype was. Someone who has watched more games, any thoughts?
  17. Happy for him to go to a mid tier team, not sure what the obsession is with sending our youngsters to relegation teams. Highly rate him from what I’ve seen, but not enough to warrant starts, same as Billy, who seems to have regressed slightly, loans to good solid teams required.
  18. Oh how the mighty have fallen. That said, all the more reason to watch Roma next season.
  19. Havertz actually causes us an issue, his best games have come centrally as a false 9. Whenever he is shunted out to the wing, our team flow is just awful, there’s no rhythm or inter changing movement and he picks the ball up back to goal waaaaaay away. So wasted. When he has played up top, the movement between the front was finesse to watch against City, note that Ruben and Stones had an immense season btw, and the movement just pulled them apart. Lewan Timo-Havertz Mount-Kante Chilwell-Rudi-Silva-Dave-James if we were to shell out for Lewan, forget his age as we’d have to reshuffle for any striker right? I’d rather move to a back 4, Mount is wasted next to Kante and nobody brings a ball forward like Kova, except Kante. Tough one, biggest issue for me this season was no plan B against teams who went 1-0 up and sat back coupled with our right wing issues.
  20. That is awful, especially with how RLC was performing, as posted earlier stats wise. His confidence was booming and he was dangerous during transitions with a goal threat, what we all were waiting for all these years and then bam. I mean, from his perspective, I get it, injury after injury especially that one with an Achilles, must have knocked him bad. in terms of athleticism, I feel Callum has lost a step of speed since his return as well, might just be that we haven’t seen him gallop for a while but he used to knock it forward and be gone gone gone. Ruben had a similar knock on touch where he could ghost past someone. We can hope, at least.
  21. Be a Bayern riot if they let him go during Nagels first season, no shot surely, especially when he needs to guarantee the continuation of the Bundesliga titles rolling in. Just inviting pressure onto yourself.
  22. Woeful, such a shame, if he were to get back on track then that was it. I am looking forward to TT preseason though, as others may still be at the Euros or on break. It allows for a proper look at some of our perceived deadwood. All for a redemption story, no matter the player as long as it’s in our blue.
