What's the take on Golding? Opinions? Pleased with the KDH signing to be honest, I'd of taken him out of the Leicester team a while back, think people need to put the fee into context, it's a good deal, especially if Conor goes. I'm all for players playing that supported the club and one of our own etc but ultimately I rate KDH higher than Conor, just my opinion. Same situation with Levi, if we can get £60-70m for him out of someone then I'd snap their hand off, he's good don't get me wrong, English hype, too.
-
Calafiori, I'd take that if Levi left or it meant Levi would go for serious money.
-
KDH would be a good signing for me, I would certainly take him over Conor on a reinvestment piece, tweets aside. Thought he was a good player with Barnes and Madi as well. What's this Isak isn't worth £120m etc? Not saying he is but people referencing his La Liga days like players can't improve? That's akin to De Bruyne not becoming worth a staggering staggering amount because he was deemed impatient here and we got a decent fee back when. Would be all for Isak however I would certainly prefer to sort other positions. If we can shift Rom to Saudi for the reported £38m then we've got some real funds to play with. Newcastle take Broja for £35m, we take Isak for £120m, PSR PSR PSR, this time next year Rodney...

Not a fan of the appointment but a fan of this approach to work.
-
Reading that Broja wouldn't mind Saudi, if so, sounds like someone who knows their knee is gone. Sad as he was rapid once upon a time, same as CHO, both lost their speed with injuries.

Think it's the sporting directors way of trying to buy time on what is perceived as their last throw of the dice in decision making, sporting guys wanted Enzo, Clearlake wanted De Zerbi.
-
Sources say from X that one of his targets is UCL in the first season, if he can achieve 4th even, then fair, we have a manager. If not, why did we bother moving from Poch to spend another £X amount. Feels like Potter 2.0
-
Let's be honest, if he didn't have a beard and wasn't bald, he wouldn't have got the job. Discount Pep.
-
From what has come out this has been the sporting directors decision Vs Egh wanting De Zerbi so I think this will be the one that makes or breaks their Chelsea tenure. +1 on not liking what I see, just listening to the radio and Leicester fans are glad he's gone. Boring football. Limped to the title. Got beat Vs teams they shouldn't have lost to.
-
I'm sure Estevao and Paez will love that type of football. We've had side to side football for years now, this is such a ridiculous appointment, I'd rather have stuck with Poch given the choice, and that's says something.
-
Ridiculous appointment if true, so frustrating. Once again the British government finds a way to fuck me over, bring back Roman.
-
I have no words for the possession football, pass from side to side? Great, how often have we seen that anyway? Why are journos and posters acting like we didn't pass it side to side already? God damn this is beyond frustrating. It's not only the type of football it's the type of person, De Zerbi takes no shit, like Conte, our squad needs coaching individually, I can't get behind this appointment, LIDL Pep, great.
-
Limped to the championship title, as opposed to Burnley with Kompany who played some very very good football. I have no clue what the heck the sporting directors are doing, I'm supportive of the hierarchy in general but this is baffling me, why are we going for possession based football? Our team is not suited to it either personnel wise. De Zerbi is the standout choice given our squad and he's available for literally half the compensation. I'm baffled, I can't say I'll be as invested going forward with this Enzo signing.
-
Genuinely worried that Arsenal might end up winning the league next year.
-
Absolute banger from Xhaka.
-
Shame Mount getting on.
-
Who would take Jose with Cesc as assistant manager with Cesc taking over in a few years? I honestly would, it gets us the rocket up the backside of the young guys in our squad.
-
Id be gutted if it was anyone other than De Zerbi at this point considering what I feel the players need. What gets me is that you literally need personality, a bit about you to manage at that level, secure championships, and I don't see that in candidates mentioned.
-
Question the keeper there but he has absolutely rifled that.
-
The more I read the more I feel Enzo might be the front runner here due to his Pep and Shields connections. My concern is Leicester weren't amazing last year, so what's prompts it? The fact he has worked with Pep, Shields, Palmer and Lavia?
-
Hoping that Cesc comes in as assistant coach.
-
According to news reports football.london and X, unnamed club paid £4.3m compensation to Brighton to appoint De Zerbi, realistically it would be us or Milan.

Chelsea open to Hutchinson sale on a permanent deal to Ajax. Not surprised considering how much talent we are stacking that side of the pitch with, unfortunate.
