  1. If he stays I'd love to see an all or nothing Amazon docu on the squad next season, it really must must must be a season of growth into fruition. Watching the Germany one with Hansi now, decent watch.
  2. Seems to have matured in the last few months, going from the club straight after a game and trying to nab penalties to giving level headed mature interviews and mentions the team effort in every other sentence whilst putting in performances, it's down to him.
  3. Even if we win the final games, I honestly see it as papering over the cracks we've been aware of all season from Poch. Whilst I agree a manager needs time, we have had time after time to prove methods are sinking in and unfortunately an end of season run with nothing at stake beyond a possible self reporting breach of FFP if we qualify for a Europe competition.
  4. Mudryk has all the tools, it'll take a manager or management team 1 on 1 to turn him into anything.
  5. I don't mind the consistency in the 11, bar Alfie, think his hammy's looked knackered against Spurs. Hoping Mudryk can do something, anything, please.
  6. Scratch the above somewhat, he's said via interview he wants to stay at Ipswich next season, seems fair if he signs a new deal, even 2-3 years. I do rate McKenna to bring him forward. Edit. I haven't seen a ton of Ipswich this season, so I can't claim to know everything about him, what I have seen isnt mind blowing, we have a winger already with erratic control. As above though, he is with the right manager in my opinion.
  7. We are probably in a strong position when it comes to youngsters realising first team opportunity, hopefully he can see that and follow the Reece path.
  8. Playing with Conor the last few games I've definitely seen the Brighton player we wanted.
  9. Need this to turn into a tasty affair with some red cards and bottle jobs then end in a draw, not too much to ask.
  10. If we can get 2 strikers, plan A and plan B ie. I was always a fan of having Giroud, a completely different dynamic in striker, what Llorente was for Poch, irrespective if Poch stays. I would honestly move Jackson to LW if it meant we got 2 actual strikers, not worldies.
  11. Rabbit in headlights, if we had another Noni on that side we'd have crawled over the line some games. Not that Noni is amazing but he's markedly improved in the last fistful of games in terms of being direct and pushing forward. Murdryk is just.. I have so much hope, then he gets the ball and I get smacked with reality. He may well suit a team that plays on the counter and he is basically told to stay up top for a lobbed ball over the top or a long pass down the flank to chase.
  12. Crazy crazy, he needs to go to Milan asap
  13. Thought he looked like the Brighton player we bought, drove forward so often, biting into tackles and spraying a few balls out to WBs. Not saying Enzo is the problem, systematically and tactically we do not utilise him correctly, but Moises seems to have more success when the team is made up like today.
  14. Can understand why they disallowed it for the foul, trouble is, in most, that happens in every box during most corners. In most goals on set pieces you'll find someone fouling someone somewhere in each slow replay. Good performance, I'd of taken a draw pre match. Shame we haven't got a LW youngster to sub off Murdryk earlier.
  15. I was genuinely thinking before he hit it "if only he had a left fo..."
  16. Benoit is absolutely shocking, honestly so rash it's ridiculous.
  17. Turned it off last night, started doing some work as once again Chelsea had lured me into looking forward to it all day only to be, inevitably, sucker punched. Everytime I checked back for the score, it had got worse.
  18. And the TV goes off, back to work, yawn.
  19. Price tag aside, I rate Everton's midfield Vs Moises. I've been pretty open that I think Moises is one of the most disappointing signings, however, partly blame the system. Hopefully it gives him some confidence in the final run-in.
  20. Well taken goal, not everyone in the squad needs to be world class, you need your utility players.
  21. Credit where credit is due, the first match I've watched Moises and thought he looked like the Brighton player we bought, albeit against a terrible Everton side, I thought we'd get bullied in midfield.
  22. He honestly hits the ball like he's not left footed, looks so awkward, nice goal sending the keeper the wrong way.
