  1. - Sell Conor - Sign Felix at a reduced fee and wage structure - Keep Guiu - Loan Sterling - Sell Lukaku - Sign or loan Osimhen for a reduced fee, no clue what his wages would be - Sell Broja to Stuttgart Sounds like good to decent deals all round for me, I'd take the above than go with what we have right now, just all done at light speed for pre season and tactical integration.
  2. I see Felix as the Alvarez transfer we weren't able to pull off to be honest. I get he wants fluid players but even against Inter in the second half balls were going into where strikers would be or should be. If it's a steal of a deal then fair, take a chance, same as the Victor deal, get some large players off our wages whilst we are at it. Just dislike the fact that players always seem to come in so late preseason and it puts them on the backfoot immediately. Moises suffered so bad from this.
  3. Still so underwhelmed by Levi considering the hype from u21/Brighton days.
  4. Toward the end of the season he showed a good attitude of him Vs the world type thing and I was excited to see this season what that 'matured' into.
  5. Zaha available for free apparently, what a waste of talent that chap.
  6. What are the thoughts on him from those who have seen him play?
  7. Complete cherry pick. My context, as per my previous post on the matter, was in reference to Fofana fanning the flame, receiving abuse and then having the media focus on that its all Chelsea fans. Call your team mate, he will publically apologise, he will privately apologise, both from backlash and more. Let their feelings be known? They are footballers in the spotlight, same as Enzo's debatable was just as stupid. The whole thing on all sides is stupid beyond measure.
  8. Rodrido De Paul's post on this completely sums it up if someone can link it, shame on Fofana as well, literally sums up this toxic social media generation. Call Enzo, say wtf, sort it, done.
  9. I don't agree or support Enzo. I don't agree or support posts like Fofana's which then just ignite the flames further by having people then comment on his post with slurs, gets highlighted all over the place like it's Chelsea fans specifically. I will always maintain you should have to register with your ID to post on social media, otherwise it's just pure toxicity.
  10. Each has their own opinion and stance on it. Whether it's naive or what etc it's unfair to single out Enzo with the entire bus singing it, the club have taken the right steps. Social media unfollowing etc is just the age we live in, a statement piece, the players should reach out to Enzo directly rather than put something on social media, much the same as Enzo was at fault for doing that. Now I do not, in any shape or form, condone racism, of any colour or discrimination of any kind, I'll be clear on that, I don't know how popular the song is in Argentina, even if that's a thing, I also am not well versed in the history of Angola/France I actually thought it was Portuguese there. I would expect a public and private apology, some fines and integration then some refollowings.
  11. Public apology and accept his fines most likely I imagine.
  12. What's with the Angola thing? Isn't it Portuguese? Or is there a joke/slur?
  13. Oh Enzo. What have you done. I honestly don't know how he comes back into that squad.
  14. I was beyond hopeful after preseason with Poch, the attitude and pressure combined with runs and passing was very impressive, and yes, did we all get hoodwinked by it, I could say I believe a very high percentage of people here did - With the caveat that yes we all understand it's preseason, I saw the signs of what we'd been lacking, some fight, chasing every ball. When the season started it became evident of how lacking intellectually on what to do, when to do it, and no I'm not saying footballers have insane IQ, but we lacked footballing IQ that wasn't covered up by running an extra km. I firmly believe our squad is quality, no doubt, we need improvement, no doubt, however it needs COACHING. It seems so odd to say but I refer back to an interview of Harry R talking about Frank L regarding Mudryk, don't quote word for word but it was along the lines of "Harry this kid Mudryk has got it all, the ability etc but just doesn't know what to do on a pitch, where to be". Had we won the Carabao cup, I think Poch would have still been here and it would be a catalyst for us to mature, sadly it would paper over the cracks. Im not a poster that claims to know encyclopedic knowledge of everything about Ligue 1, I rely on you guys, I don't know his time at PSG beyond 2-3 matches and CL, and sometimes the game passes managers by. Jose is the unfortunately best example of that at the top level.
  15. You're right, I heard Ricky Lambert on talk sport speak about it once regarding their running sessions.
  16. Exactly what Kyle Walker said in an interview as well. Not saying Enzo is the answer but it could well be a step forward for those lacking football intelligence.
  17. Chiesa pre injury, absolutely, what a player but he's done for unfortunately. Sad to see because I rated him so so highly before.
  18. The kit looks great, aside from the 3 but amazing to see the women's team get a different sponsor.
  19. I've been supportive of their decisions after the initial stumbles, which anyone can be guilty of presented with a shiny new toy but this is a genuine shock, very interested to see the reasons why. Cue the "they sell all our players" but in reality we lose a ton to lower leagues, no contracts renewals etc. so I'm interested in a bit of a deeper reasoning then that.
  20. Wouldn't be sorry to see Chilly go, best years seem to be behind him, injury record is insane and when he did play he was well below par. X reports suggest Notts Forest interested, with his salary, if we could recoup £15-17.5m I'd consider it good business reinvesting that towards Calafiori, again reiterating that I'm also ok with Levi going.
  21. Let Bada go to Milan if they are still interested and get shot of Col if someone is going to give us £70m or the like.
  22. I don't think they are beyond recognising if someone is a talent ie. Josh A for example. At the end of the day we probably ended up losing the Goldings of the world for free, £500k compensation or tumbling down the leagues years gone by. Time will tell. I think the real judgement will come when the Paez's and the Estevao's come in vs academy talent, another fork in the road.
  23. £4m offsetting £30m for KDH, £26m, I'm happy with that. At least KDH knows what it takes to go the distance, albeit in the championship, there are way more positives than negatives on this transfer - Very happy.
  24. Most likely due to PSR window shutting I would assume. If it's one thing I do trust it's the money side with these guys, mistakes were made initially with wages but I've been pretty satisfied with the financial sums exchanging hands so far. A good example for me is the Olise deal, it pays to walk away from a deal, something we've had our pants pulled down on too often.
  25. Good business, shame not to see a buy back but that side of the pitched is stacked for us with emerging talent too. Best of luck to him.
