Long balls were very good, where from? Deep. Shock. Not bloody #10!! No one doubts the talent but it's game 1 and he's already throwing his hands up because others aren't pressing with him.
For those that watched RB A LOT, don't reply if you actually didn't btw, where was Nkunku's best position? I watched the odd game and not a full 90 either.
Enzo playing further forward never worked before so why would it now.
Needs to have a set of bollocks to change things at half time, don't do a poch and hope for the best.
He is probably fully fully aware of that as well hence no budging on his wages demands or moving to our newer model of performance based contracts (VO).
Osimhens wages are insane for our current structure, it's one of the biggest bonuses of having these guys in, read on here that our average wage is 60k down from 200k, that's without getting rid of Rom, Chilly and Raheem (hopefully).
- Sell Conor
- Sign Felix at a reduced fee and wage structure
- Keep Guiu
- Loan Sterling
- Sell Lukaku
- Sign or loan Osimhen for a reduced fee, no clue what his wages would be
- Sell Broja to Stuttgart
Sounds like good to decent deals all round for me, I'd take the above than go with what we have right now, just all done at light speed for pre season and tactical integration.
I see Felix as the Alvarez transfer we weren't able to pull off to be honest. I get he wants fluid players but even against Inter in the second half balls were going into where strikers would be or should be. If it's a steal of a deal then fair, take a chance, same as the Victor deal, get some large players off our wages whilst we are at it.
Just dislike the fact that players always seem to come in so late preseason and it puts them on the backfoot immediately. Moises suffered so bad from this.
