I worked at my uni's bookshop. They sack everyone a few weeks into the semester because people stop buying textbooks after the first couple of weeks, so there isn't the need for a large staff and there isn't a lot of money being made. What an excellent job it was. $20 an hour, on campus, small shifts... I could go to uni, get through my classes and then do a 3 hour shift..
