  1. This is all off topic, to bring it back on topic, I'll say that Hulk definitely wasn't a replacement for Drogba. While he is enormous, Drogba and Lukaku are in their own league in terms of pure strength.
  2. And he's 8 years younger. By 20, he'll perhaps be the strongest Belgian to have ever played the game.
  3. 35 million + either Daniel Alves (cunt) or Sergio Ramos or fuck off, Spanish clubs. We're not a selling club.
  4. I was talking about pure strength. Lukaku could probably even take Drogba in an arm wrestle.
  5. Lukaku could crush Hulk with all the emotion and effort of crushing an aluminium can.
  6. They absolutely have to reveal everything financially. That's what the clubs AGM is for. No one is pulling figures out of their arse if they cite the AGM's figures.
  7. I think he'll do well but won't look a bargain at that price. Unless he stays here for 10 years and wins the Champions League Final with an 88th minute header after going 1-0 down and scores the winning penalty, that is.
  8. What the fuck are the Ivorian FA doing sacking Zahoui?
  9. What's all this talk of him going to Madrid/Barcelona?
  10. We've heard "When Roman leaves, then what?" every season now. When will it seep into these thickos that that's not going to happen?
  11. On giving Kalou a new contract!
  12. I dunno, put it in the bank to save for the inevitable pay rises the likes of Mata and Ramires will want now?
  13. 8 million can still get you quality. Poor decision to spend quite so much.
  14. Yeah, it's the 150th anniversary of the FA or something. Should have held on to Drogba
  15. No, Sam! Save yourself! 38 million, eh? We paid more for him than Hazard. Porto really are good at gouging money out of teams. We've paid over the odds for so many players/coaches of theirs, Carvalho, Ferreira, Bosingwa, Villas-Boas and now Hulk.
  16. Communism advocates the decreasing role of government influence, eventually, there will be none. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stateless_communism Oh, look at me, going off topic in a thread warning against off-topic posts. I'm sorry and it won't happen again.
  17. I've seen a lot of posts on "teh int3rwebz" that we didn't deserve to be in the tournament at all because we finished 6th and how they wished it returned to the European Cup model where only the champion made it through. What they forget was Bayern weren't champions of the Bundesliga either.
  18. Yeah, because YNWA is 'a way of life' He won't retire, I don't think. He'll play a part in qualifying for the Brazil World Cup and he may even use that as his swansong should England qualify.
  19. Ouch. Must be hurting, physically and emotionally as this was probably his last chance to represent England in a major tournament. Don't they get to fly first class?
  20. No, its not. It's just bad luck for him he got sent off in the 2nd leg. If he pulled that stunt in the first leg he would 'only' have missed the CL final. I wouldn't bet against a similar brain fart in the CWC either
  21. Perhaps I am being a little harsh, what I meant was, though I do agree, that as our captain and one of our better players, it's a shame he won't be playing, but given that he jeopardised our chances of even qualifying for the two games he will now miss, he get's no sympathy from me. What.
  22. If you did the crime, you have to do the time. No sympathies from me, he knew what he was doing, it wasn't like a mistimed challenge or something, he had an intent to hurt Sanchez.
