  1. Ahh, yes. Torres misses a sitter "it was a great save". One of Kalou, Bosingwa, Malouda, Sturridge, Mikel miss a sitter- "FUCK OFF OUT OF OUR CLUB YOU USELESS MONEY GRABBING CUNTS."
  2. Summer is unbearable. Fair play to the Indigenous lads for surviving that for 40,000 years without so much as a piece of paper to fan themselves with.
  3. Rubbish public holiday. All it's done is rain! Come to Australia, where it's impossible to sleep in the summer without the air con on
  4. It's ironic that he hates Terry for being a racist yet he himself has racially abused me. "Robbie" is a moot point. They called Mourinho "Joe-sayy" and he had complete control over the squad
  5. The 'hate' for Messi comes from reading posts from the Naira Army on football websites like goal.com who post shit like "Messi u my african brotha you da best of all time". That and he's an enormous cunt who plays for a loathsome team and the media circle jerk around him. Oh yeah, and these: The guy's a serial cheat. And Ollie, no, he does not do it in the big games. Scoring a few hat tricks against the wankers at the Bernabeu does not constitute a big game, El Clasico is a just a league match, title 6-pointers/Copa del Rey meetings are not 'big games' in the same context as CL semi finals or any game in the World Cup. Scoring against the Manc's is something he has done but then Barcelona won all those CL finals comfortably, theoretically he could have had a shocker and they still would have gotten home. Where was he in this years semi final? Where was he in the 2010 semi final? 2009? And the 2008 semi final? Where is he on the biggest stage of them all, the World Cup? Where was he when Argentina needed him against the Germans? Where has he been whenever the goings have gotten tough, his team has needed him more than ever and the opponents just haven't given up and died before the match? Complaining to the media who fawn on him that so-and-so played 'antifootball' or complaining that it was 'unfair' that he's a massive bottler. Pele won a World Cup at 17, and he wasn't a passenger, he scored 5 goals. Diego Maradona won the World Cup with 5 goals to his name at the age of 26. Messi meanwhile is yet to score in a World Cup and will be the same age as Maradona when he gets a crack (and fails to win it) in Brazil.
  6. Haha . Ill ask Jim to consider a renaming
  7. His goal vs Leicester was excellent. Slipping that so casually past the keeper.
  8. Bah. The rains are back Bring back the glory days of 2002-06 where eastern Australia had the longest drought in it's history. 4 years of virtually no rain!
  9. It's funny like that. A lot of players, Kalou, Podolski and Klose, for example, are immensely better for their national teams than they are for their clubs. Also, I'm still waiting on this from you, Manuf:
  10. Last time I was in India, I saw Chelsea shirts everywhere. Though of course that was only a few weeks after the Double.
  11. What he's capable of also include open goal misses. It's the price tag and the reputation of the guy. That's all it is. If we signed Kalou for 50 million from Liverpool we'd probably be getting "oh, he had a good game today, couple of nice touches, good shot, unlucky he didn't score, come on lads lets sign 10 other players to bring the best out fo him".
  12. He could have been a good player if everything clicked for him at the same time. Too often he was in his best form in one category at the same time that he was at at his worst in another. Re: the finishing, Torres has consistently worse than that yet many want a new team to be built around him. Enough with the hypocrisy around Torres.
  13. Certain people have questioned the moral points from our win. They claim that loads of clubs have won the European Cup while fielding an all youth academy graduate XI. I did some research; the criterion for a squad to have been given the tag of fair winners according to my opinion is: 1) For a player to count as home grown, he must never, even at youth stage, have turned out for another club. 2) At least 4 such players from the starting XI must be present for it to count as a 'fairly' won trophy. Bearing in mind the above criterion, here are the results:
  14. We are the greatest sporting nation on earth. If we give two shits about football and we do a Chelsea we could conceivably win one in about 30-40 years or so. Hell, it's only been 6 years since we were World Cup quarter-finalists but for a dodgy penalty given to the Italians. And yes, a World Cup win for Australia makes the CL win for Chelsea look like a Community Shield.
  15. How goes the pain relief? Also, you're posting again
  16. Who said he's a shit finisher!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LzeXsKUPmDM
  17. We had our first sub-zero night yesterday. Normally we get about 5 of those a year so its good to get one out of the way before mid winter.
  18. Schalke would be ideal. Not English, and they're a good team. Also they play in blue so I can pretend he's still playing for Chelsea
  19. I'm bipolar because this. Going from hopeful to devastated and back again is no fun
  20. Can I write for a British newspaper as well? If the lowest end of the Bell Curve can get journalist jobs in the UK, as this guy has, then I guess everyone can.
  21. But it's general chat. They don't care about this place do they?
