With Leicester losing it seems like a Benitez season is in the card. You all remember that season where we was going to finish outside of top 4 and then have no idea how we end up in 3rd place? I remember mentioning this about 2 months ago how this season might end up being just like that. Chelsea finished 3rd despite the ups and downs of this season. Let's see what happens. 🙂

After another match I have to say honestly: If we can get Pochetino go for him. If not, I rather keep Lampard. Anything else is a same situation of past managers. No improvement in youth and boring futbol. If no Poch, Lampard is the best manager to keep for another season.

Liverpool done the right thing, strengthen a winning squad. While our club when we won they never did strengthen, Liverpool was once run bad but they then restructure the board and have paid dividend. Time for us as well....

Real Madrid at times cut their loses fast. Let's see if they decide to do that this summer. I think the club should at least inquire if they want to sell back. 🙂

That is the problem with the club when he is supposed to be a starter.... I have always said it that giroud is a super sub and that is the role that he should be. Lampard went with bats and that was not good. Another waste of money that bats. But giroud for me he is the perfect super sub to have in your team.

Only when it's a Mourinho team that park the bus. Other then that against team like Bayern we get slaughter. But yes against defensive mind team he is good to have.

There's also the inconsistency of young players and young coach. Which is also expected by me. So not surprised at the ups and downs of a young coach. He will improve.

Anyhow I still stand by what I said, it's a miracle that we are in top 4 and if we finish in top 4 then Lampard is amazing. Because my original target with no hazard and no transfer window was 7 to 10. So for me Lampard continues to perform way above my target.

Tottenham beat Manchester city and we couldn't beat city. But we are beating Tottenham... Or like you said because we couldn't beat Valencia and they lose against Atalanta. No it was expected that this would happen. I don't understand why people are surprise? We already knew that we was messed up after Hazard left and no transfer window. So for me expected.

I still back Lampard. To me this season was always a write off and I had no expectations for top 4. As we might still do it is still a miracle for me. Next season we should improve from this season.

We can play like that, I think it's foolish to look at it. Context plays a key and the context here is that Lampard has done better then I thought. My initial outcome for the season was between 7th and 10th. We are still fourth and we are playing youth. So Lampard for me has done way better then what I expected of this season and that after losing hazard and no transfer for the whole season.

For someone that never played with us yes its a good deal. However it's a pity that he never got a chance, it is why I'm happy with Lampard. He gives chances to these younger players that in the past never got it with past managers.

But psg was worse. How they got money for neymar and mbappe? If city are guilty so are they. Hence the ban is not justice because you do it for one team but don't do it for the other.

I remember when I was in Germany in 2004 to 2006, especially for the world cup I meet many cool German folks. One in particular was a big fan that knew almost every player of the top leagues in Europe. I was surprised at that time he knew about some players from my country of Ecuador. Very funny guy and met many awesome people as well. It was a pleasure to spend some time with some German people.
