  1. Well it helped Liverpool drop a point yesterday. 😃 So thank you SL for distracting Liverpool! Now let's win this game today.
  2. Dang miss the people at the stadium. Fútbol without fans is nothing.
  3. True that being said I do hope we back out of this. If we don't have Bayern, PSG and Dortmund is not that great for me. AC Milan, Arsenal are nowhere near good enough for this. And as many people said it feels like we are bailing out Real Madrid and Juventus for their nonsense. Let them figure, they might fall out of the limelight for a while like it happen with Liverpool. But they will be back eventually.
  4. Well this guy has a point: The argument over relegation and so on seems stupid. Do games in the NFL, MLB and so on suffer from it not being a factor? When teams don’t do so well it gives them the opportunity to rebuild without the stress they may go down. The clubs could corner the market in players, but don’t they do that anyway? The point about that the games will be boring is also baseless. NFL, NBA has the same teams and people still watch it.
  5. If Bayern is not part of it, no point in going forward then.
  6. ‘I have always wanted to see a European League’ I think it’s a great idea as I have always wanted to see a European League. In 1888 many showed concerns that the Football League would be the “end of football” but like now it was about money and always will be. I hope that it may also be the end of international football, which over the years has become dire – most national teams would struggle in the English third tier. As an armchair viewer of the Premier League and Champions League, my hope would be that the standard would only get better. Port Vale are not going to figure so I have no team in the fight. I love going there and watching them despite the poor quality but that is another thing altogether. The argument over relegation and so on seems stupid. Do games in the NFL, MLB and so on suffer from it not being a factor? When teams don’t do so well it gives them the opportunity to rebuild without the stress they may go down. The clubs could corner the market in players, but don’t they do that anyway? Leicester and West Ham seem the only ones who have some and if those six left it would mean more opportunity for younger players to come through. Tim Diggles, 67, artist and Port Vale fan
  7. It is a power grab. They are forcing UEFA hand in this.
  8. More money, people are never satisfied. But the problem is that how much Chelsea will get compare to Real Madrid and such?
  9. Another interesting point that was brought up from someone of the Premier league, is that these big 6 are not breaking away from the PL but from uefa, the Cl. That is their problem and not PL. So PL would be silly to do something against the big 6. If anything the rest of the clubs can go to CL and play there.
  10. Klopp did said something interesting, UEFA and FIFA are also about money. They are jamming the clubs with more fixtures, and expanding the Club world cup for more games because of money.
  11. I feel like the Batman movie at this moment.
  12. I agree with this. And yes National Team sucks. I hardly watch them.
  13. True it is why these clubs are too big to fail. People will still see them. My only concern is the transfers rule for these clubs. What UEFA and FIFA do when it comes to transfers.
  14. Yeah because it's global, they get more money from TV then stadium.
  15. One question about all this. How will transfer works? Transfer work under FIFA rules right? What if they do something to make it hard to teams in the Super league from buying from other clubs? That would be game over!
  16. This says it all. The top 10 earners we are missing Bayern and PSG. They are forming their ESL and they can do it because they can. Weather people hate it and criticize they do it because they can.
  17. It was bound to happen. So make it happen with the powerful club and go from there. Only one missing is Bayern. PSG they can stay out for all they want, they hold no power. We want Bayern!
  18. At the end of the day I will still be watching this. But I hope it don't ends up like a fail football league that WWE tried to make (XFL), total failure that. However this is different because you have the biggest club that here in US people follow. Real Madrid, Barcelona, Liverpool, Manchester United, City, Chelsea, Juventus, Inter etc etc. As in the words of 2008 crisis, they are "too big to fail". These clubs do have great power in pulling this and they will do it as people all over the world will continue to watch them. Now the leagues will be fool by kicking these teams out. They are dead without Real Madrid, Barcelona and such. So they should play it smart. I will still support Chelsea and watch these matches.
  19. I agree for now. A striker is not much needed but a better CM. We definitely need to spend some money there, but like I always says if the opportunity rises to sign Haaland we should go for it.
  20. I think PSG are too much for anyone. They will beat City and they will beat anyone in the final unless you take them to penalties and then anything can happen.
  21. We should have been giving more time to Gilmour and we have Gallagher coming back. But if non of those works then for now one CM would do for now.
  22. I wonder if he will leave now after this season. Run while your stock is high giving the financial situation at the club.
  23. Conte on the verge of winning another title. Like him or hate him, he is a winner. I do miss him and wonder what could have been if we backed him. But it is what it is.
