  1. Lampard for me did amazing in the buying department. I would love him at the club for that aspect, with the buying of players. As well with the youth. Tuchel is good at the club as the manager but to have Lampard in some sort of role like cech would be awesome as well.
  2. I guess we can say he has taken over makelele? Maka was so good that there's a position named after him. Surely kante surpassed that?
  3. According to transfermarket his contract expires on: Contract until: Jun 30, 2022 Has a market value of 144 millions. If he don't sign a new contract we should go for him. Haaland is WC, but Mbappe is on another level me thinks. 150 million for him, I know it's a lot but if you don't fork that out PSG ain't selling and will wait till January and by then the transfer battle will be insane with Real Madrid and others. Well that's IF he does not sign a new contract.
  4. Probably but we did the same with Mourinho and Conte. I think we should extend his contract for one more year. He was giving 18 months plus one year option of extension. Give him that and then see after that. No need to do the same, because for some reason managers here after you give them a long extension they go down!
  5. Lukaku is surely a joke. First if we can buy it will be Haaland. I would love above all Mbappe. I think his contract is about to finish and I wonder if he will consider a move after yesterdays game. He needs to get out of that joke French League.
  6. Indead and if we score first we will sit back and they can hit us as well like Benzema out of the blue. Could easily go into penalty. If if gets to that I hope Tuchel does a Vann Gaal.
  7. If we get rid of Tammy and Giroud then we should get another striker. Would be foolish to stay with Werner only. Havertz as a false 9 it is not always going to work.
  8. We should really cut our losses and sell him this summer so we can raise some money and buy mbappe or halland.
  9. Might be at the end Chelsea vs PSG. Tuchel playing against his old club. But I don't think anyone can stood PSG this season. They are too good. That being said i am not worried about real Madrid. Expect us to beat them.
  10. But we need creativity ala Fabregas. Who can we get that would do that? I thought it would be Gilmour but he is not getting any chance. So we need that creativity in that area.
  11. We need more people like him at the club. I want Lampard back but not as manager. But that is not going to happen since Lampard wants to continue coaching.
  12. I assume that goes to Real Madrid and just like that they resolved their financial situation. I bet they did that in purpose knowing it will fail but to collect that money for themselves.
  13. European Super League: La Liga president Javier Tebas calls for greater financial controls on clubs like Man City and PSG Tebas declares Super League "dead" amid insistence from Real Madrid and Barcelona that the project remains necessary; Tebas says that La Liga are not planning any punishment for El Clasico sides or Atletico Madrid Manchester City were among six English clubs which signed up to the breakaway league on Sunday, while PSG rejected the opportunity to be involved, before it quickly fell through under global pressure from fans and politicians. Tebas appeared to suggest that many of the teams who signed up for the breakaway league may have been motivated by their struggles to match the financial clout of City, who are owned by United Arab Emirates deputy prime minister, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and PSG, who are owned by Qatar Sports Investments. "State-owned clubs like Man City and PSG - these clubs need to face some controls," Tebas said during a virtual news conference on Thursday. "They haven't done anything outrageous so far, but we will see." https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/12283936/european-super-league-la-liga-president-javier-tebas-calls-for-greater-financial-controls-on-clubs-like-man-city-and-psg
  14. Perez is saying no one has left the super league as no one has paid the penalty fee. He didn't said how much it was.....
  15. ROM RAGE Chelsea European Super League exit due to Roman Abramovich feeling ‘livid’ at being ‘blindsided’ by backlash Chelsea chairman Bruce Buck ultimately led the Blues' exit from the European Super League. But it was Roman Abramovich's anger that brought the whole house of cards down. The Chelsea owner is said to have been "blindsided" by the strength of the backlash to Sunday's announcement - and then "livid" that he had been misinformed about the likely reaction. As the pressure grew, with fans gathering outside Stamford Bridge, Buck urged Abramovich and the club hierarchy to make moves to withdraw from the project. And the billionaire oligarch agreed, shocked to the core by how quickly everything had fallen apart. Abramovich and Chelsea started getting cold feet on Sunday when the stunning news about the Super League emerged and football united in its opposition to the breakaway. According to a source, Abramovich "had no idea that there would be such a backlash". Chelsea fan groups and former players were part of the chorus of disapproval. And when it became clear that supporters were going to take their protest to Stamford Bridge and shut down Fulham Road, the writing was really on the wall. Playing legend Petr Cech, now the club's technical and performance advisor, came out of the stadium to beg fans to allow the Chelsea and Brighton team coaches through ahead of the Premier League match. But by then the Blues were already trying to disentangle themselves from a league that had been formally announced less than 48 hours earlier. https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/14713129/Chelsea-abramovich-european-super-league-backlash-buck/
  16. Maybe that's why the timing of when this came out? To pressure for that? Because the timing is so weird unless done with a purpose to get something else.
  17. Despite all the shenanigans he is still a good owner. I'm amazed how he let himself get into this, but despite that he did good in realizing his mistake. Now I don't know how things will change because it seems the government will do some reviews and all that good stuff. How that affects ownership, we shall see. But Roman is still a good owner and I want him to continue.
  18. No money at this time to pay for that 😪 If anyone does, please put the whole article so I can read, please.
  19. Probably, but the only image I get is that of our fans coming out in full to protest. For a "rent club" with "soulless fans" the world saw that it was not like that. I think the reason why at times our atmosphere at games is not as loud as say Liverpool is because of the price. Prices are too high and if it was lower many of these people would be in there shouting for our team. So yesterday showed that our fans are not dead, are not rent boys and are not soulless.
  20. Let's hope there is no fine and Real Madrid are not keeping no money. Because the timing of it all is so weird. They did it because they had a deadline and had to do it now. All this is so weird to be honest, and let's hope Real Madrid does not come benefiting by getting some type of compensation.
  21. They knew that this would happen. Even Perez I assumed. The question is why go ahead and do it? I still think something is fishy. They might be doing away with some money. As one reporter put it: What happens with the billions of pounds in start-up money put forward by American bankers JP Morgan is anyone's guess.
  22. I agree something does not sit well with all this. The way it came out is so suspicious.
  23. Interesting if real Madrid gets the sign up bonus. Or some of them get some secret money. As they knew this was going to failure from the get go, so they did it to get something, me thinks.
