  1. Reuters: Five killed in second day of Charlie Hebdo protests in Niger. http://google.com/newsstand/s/CBIwkbadgCA
  2. Why do people still say David luiz went for 50? He went for like 37 million: When Luiz was sold, there was £11.5m left in book value on the transfer fee paid to Benfica. As such, in order to record a profit of £25.43m, Luiz would have had to have been sold for around £37m, a far cry from the £48m or £50m that was being widely reported at the time. As for the significant discrepancy, this may have been a situation where the 48-50m figure was actually in euros and "" was simply replaced with "£" without doing the proper currency conversion. A £37m transfer fee and £25m profit for Jose Mourinho's third-choice centre-back is still an excellent piece of business, mind you, but as mentioned, at a much lower fee than originally thought. http://weaintgotnohistory.sbnation.com/2015/1/12/7527747/chelsea-financial-accounts-ffp
  3. Seeing it like that it does look class as compare to Turkish Airlines.
  4. Interesting take, but tell me of those committing terror acts then what are they? Are they not Muslim? Are they Christian? Buddhist? Catholics? etc etc
  5. Some rumors already starting about Hazard to Real Madrid. They will give us Modric plus 50 millions. I have to say I find it very suspicious that he has not signed a new contract by now. If he was committed he would have signed by now!
  6. This confirms it. Real Madrid must be crap because Torres scored on them twice!
  7. ^You need to add that is best coach ever for Portugal like recently Ronaldo was voted best ever for Portugal.
  8. I think that's blasphemy but certainly not reason to go on a killing rampage. Most certainly I will forgive them, pray for them and show love to them. And I think this Haram sounds similar to what God said to the Israelites in not drawing up an image of himself. But people still don't listen....
  9. Reuters: Turkish PM equates Israel's Netanyahu to Paris attackers. http://google.com/newsstand/s/CBIwud_C_x8 Despite what you think about loses of casualties from a war, this is uncalled for. And it makes you wonder if this is how a Turkish leader thinks then what else they view in light of events......
  10. Didn't you belittle someone for using YouTube to bring ideas of what's the truth?
  11. Just read that copies was sold out in minutes. Anyways I'm baffled that some Islamic leaders think that the cover is wrong. Really? Where is the love and forgiveness in this ideology? Doesn't Islam has a love your enemies and forgive as I have forgiving you?
  12. I wonder how this guy must feel now: Meet little Leandro Lampard, or Lampardinho to hi:
  13. I would take mirallas for Salah. That will help improve our quality for rotational players.
  14. I would like it if we can get rid of Salah for miralas. That would be a great upgrade.
  15. Yeah but that assumes we are successful every year. Now it's a good thing to have to push up our numbers, but here is when Commercial and stadium are costing us. Thankfully to the new sponsorship you have told us about it should help us a bit more.
  16. Good point. But to me what keeps standing out is this: However, it's important to note that had Chelsea not sold David Luiz, Juan Mata, Kevin De Bruyne and Jeffrey Bruma, Chelsea would've taken a £47m loss. The club earned £65m in profit from player sales (which is not included in the £319m in turnover, by the way), and for what it's worth, the underlying numbers make that loss look quite a bit less scary, especially through the lens of FFP accounting and UEFA's break-even calculation. This why it baffles me that people think we can afford Messi....if we didn't sell those players we would barely make it with FFP.
  17. Men your something. How can you continue to put false hope up like this? If anything is a tell it's the finance. The swissramble.blogspot.com is out on the Chelsea account and you know what was telling? That had we not sold the players we did Chelsea would have made a 40 million loss. We are in no position to undertake such a spenditure when we are just still trying to make ends meet here.
  18. New piece from our favorite finance blog: http://swissramble.blogspot.com/2015/01/chelsea-hey-hey-my-my-into-black.html?m=0
  19. City is getting him for 25 million. To be fair that ain't that bad price for a good striker, but I agree with you we need to spend the cash in other positions that are lacking.
  20. Manchester City agree £25m deal to sign Wilfried Bony from Swansea http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/jan/11/anchester-city-agree-fee-sign-wilfried-bony-swansea-city If you want to believe that guy suit yourself, but I rather believe the guardian.....
  21. Amazing loan for him and now we get some money from him this summer! :blue scalf:
  22. Manchester City have agreed a fee of £25m rising to £28m with Swansea City for the striker Wilfried Bony, who is set to sign a 4½-year deal worth £100,000 a week. Bony’s recruitment means Manuel Pellegrini will have to drop one of his 16 allocated overseas players from City’s Champions League squad.
  23. Men if Koeman gets the Saints into the CL he deserves coach of the year!
  24. CHELSEA have trained their sights on a surprise move for Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus. http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/551307/Chelsea-Transfer-News-Reus-Fabregas-Messi-Varane
