Well this the reason why we need coach stability. By January the coach should know which to sell and keep. I doubt we can sell Sanchez at this time, and get a good keeper. We already knew that but the constant change in coach does not let that happen as for any coach gk is a little slower to identity then say a winger. If Maresca is still here another season then I suspect next summer we fix our problems in gk and defense.

Would have but maresca wanted to give another chance. It's what happens when you constantly change manager. If maresca stays another season then he will have known by then to get a new gk.

@Vesper remember when I used to mention that this could be good for Cucu: Marc Cucurella, named in the starting XI at left-back, spent most of the game in an advanced midfield position I guess there was no need to put him as mid but to deploy as inverted full back. Crazy!

I think that first season was bad because of Todd and Tuchel. Once we have set in with proper structure it seems to me like they have done a good job in buying players. People here like to give heat to the owners and what not, but in all honestly they have done a real good job in improving after that first horrible first season. I'm glad we are no longer spending absurd money on players like Lukaku just because they are killing it at this moment. Case in point with the Napoli striker we didn't get this window because of the wages. It's okay we go with we have and so far it's holding well. Gives us a breather with what we have until January. But in general I like how they are doing business lately, and yes it's insane all these young players they are constantly buying but hey I rather they do that then buy no one. Because that way we can always sell and keep brining the next great thing. Which is what I think they want to do, kinds of like Dortmund.

So two strikers that the club wanted to get have come good. Maybe they are doing a great job in getting players. The only they done bad is CB...but then again they just got a free CB this summer which is better then before. So maybe they also improving that?

I don't think there's any single academy that we sold under this company that I thought men what a bummer. If any sell that happen was before with Roman and company. They got rid of some academy boys that where good.

So happy this got done this summer. For me the worst buy ever in Chelsea modern history. And that's saying a lot. We had Torres, Drinkwater, Bakayoko, Kepa, but for me he is the worst and that is coming from Roman era, not Todd and company era.

That is true, we need to improve on the tactics because at time with Poch we seem all over the place. Even though we improve at the end and because of that I think Maresca will benefit. Just need to push us to the next level this season. Should not regress.

I think he might be an upgrade on Gallagher. If we get some good money for Gallagher we should sell.

Yup I agree. Tuchel was great but like I said multiple times he was horrible with buys. Because of him we got Lukaku.....
