  1. Cahill is more solid than Luiz, for sure. I would like to try Ivanovic-Cahill. Would be interesting.
  2. To the point he was more instrumental to his team. To the point he won La Liga while Messi won a mickey mouse cup. To the point that Ronaldo kept stepping up big time in the Clasicos. While Messi hasn't been great in the big games. Do not bring up the Messi scored more and broke records excuse because 12 months ago it was Ronaldo who did that and Messi won because he was 'more important to his team' and 'won something'. There are absolutely no reasons to pick Messi over Ronaldo this year. If FIFA remains consistent, doesn't have double standards and has some integrity Ronaldo will win the Ballon D'or.
  3. Why is it that you won't be surprised if Corinthians (lol) beat Chelsea?
  4. He said he wouldn't be surprised. That sure as hell sounds like he's saying they're better to me...
  5. A-Fucking-Men. He understandably and rightfully is feeling robbed and is fed up with it.
  6. I've never understood why you put certain words in bold. lol
  7. Drogba is 34 and has been there, done it and won it all. Hulk is 26 and proved very little. Big difference
  8. It would probably be best to keep him now that we are a bit light in midfield.
  9. Perhaps we are generating funds for Falcao and/or a new DM early as we don't want to fuck about in January. We want to buy them very early in the window.
  10. The 5-3 Le Arse match was what killed our League season. Everything went downhill from there.
  11. They just did. They know what they're doing more than us fans. Taking that into account and seeing how they are still spending tells me FFP is a loop hole filled joke.
  12. Yet spending is actually on the up. With us, Zenit and PSG going on spending sprees.
  13. I wish people would stop bringing up FFP. You should have realised by now that it means nothing.
  14. I can't believe how much you're underrating Mata. He is a class player and at his best is almost as good as Silva. He is only 24 so can get better.
  15. Turkish fans are both Maniacs and Badass at the same time.
  16. Perhaps Luiz and Mata will also start playing in midfield?
  17. Zenit is not a step up. Fact. If I'm feeling generous I'd say it's a parrallel move. If I'm stating the cold, harsh reality, it's a step down.
  18. Is it possible to sign him for 6 months only? Would be good cover. If not I'd still sign him up for 1 year. I don't think he'll mind sitting on the bench a lot. He knows he's at that stage of his career and I think he would love to come back here
  19. When you take a step down in your career, it's hard to ever get back to somewhere near the top. Going to Russia will mean less exposure for him. He is young too so this move makes even less sense. Shame he has shown a lack of belief and ambition and caved in for money. I guess he can still showcase his talent in the Champions League and with the Belgian national side (Should he even get picked anymore). So those two things keep his chances of playing for a big club still alive, barely. For the meanwhile though, that's another option gone for us. Fellaini jumps to the top of the list. With M'Vila/Tiote/Moutinho close behind.
  20. Grossly overpriced and I fear for him that we won't be hearing much from him anymore now that he's gone to Russia (Same thing with Eto'o). He's 26 (?) so I doubt any big club will try to buy him again. Shame that he's practically stalled and damaged his career beyond repair. Firstly for agreeing a massive buyout clause with Porto was insane. They were always going to try to price him out of a move, especially from us. So he should have forced their hand by handing in a transfer request. This move however practically kills his career. He may even struggle to get into the Brazil team now. I'm even more disappointed in Witsel though.
