Romeu should start this match. I really don't know why he is isn't playing. At the press conference RDM was hinting that their won't be too many changes. Mata could be rested, we could bring him on as a sub if needed. Drogba needs to be rested for sure. Same with Lampard. Essien is not the player he used go be but I think he can still do a decent job against Le Arse. Rest Ramires, Meireles (or Mata), Drogba, Lampard, and Mikel I also agree with a previous Post. If Sturridge doesn't start this game it's grim signs. Under RDM he has become a squad player and if it continues like that I think he'll be on his way soon.

We were very effective in the long balls to Drogba. So IMO we don't HAVE to play Mata in the 2nd Leg and can Play him against Arsenal. Sturridge can playin this game, we won't have to defend as much as we did against Barca, Danny's speed and trickery will be great here. Rest Lampard, Drogba, Ramires, Cole, Meireles. Bring on Drogba later in the game so they can Relive their Nightmares of the Drog.

Torres should Definitely start against Le Arse. Torres would be more suited against Le Arse anyway. We can't afford to Tire out Drogba or risk an Injury to him. Shame though, He always shows up and Rapes Arsenal.

Drogba always shows up in the big Games, Cole played out of his Skin, was Brilliant, as was Ramires, Meireles, Mikel, Terry, the whole team put in a good Performance. Still going to be INCREDIBLY Difficult to go through, but we have a better chance now.

This UCL tie can change our season. IF we somehow won over the 2 legs. It'd be MASSIVE. Even if we don't win the FA cup and don't get into the Top 4, the sheer Publicity, reputation and talk we would build from beating them would be incredible. Plus we'd have reached the finals.
