There's something in the way Eden is conducting himself on and off the pitch that tells me he knows that everything is going be ok in the end at Chelsea for him and our current Chelsea squad, apart from Torres. I really hold a lot of respect for Eden, he seems a genuinely nice geeza and ultimately a top professional.

I would never beg nor even ask for Roman to splash 100 million on Messi, let alone Falcao. No player is worth that amount of money , especially when there are plenty of other clinical strikers who would fit the bill here. I would rather Cavani over Falcao anyways as I could see him being the big presence player we need up top again. Having said that, if we were to bring Falcao here then I certainly wouldn't moan about it, just not for 100 million pounds.

Today was the inevitable condemning conclusion of ridiculously horrific decisions made by Roman and his staff over the past 3 years. That is all!

I've been away for a while due to my laptop choosing when and when not to load up. Cap was a quality member, what was he banned for?
-
Hell yea your right.. but I was just giving my opinion regardless. CFC.net may be more widely known than TC but TC caters for all my needs without over sensitive moderators who allow you to express your personal views and opinions without instant banning.
-
CFC.net doesn't even come close in comparison to TC. TC is the best of the best when regarding the top Chelsea forum on the internet. The layout, members, mods and administrators are far superior.

It was apparent last season that Torres was done.. Why the hell we are still having this debate to present day is beyond me.
-
Get Fellani in,, I think he would add a lot to our current line up. Swap Nando for Falcao and bung some cash in A.Madrid's sky rocket. Maybe bring Lukaku back?? Feels like a lot of people have forgotten about Lukaku which is odd given his excellent loan spell at the Baggies!
-
Kojo I agree with what your saying, I really do. I cannot stand watching Torres fail time and time again but Roman is the man who decides and if he decides that he wants the Chelsea team to be built around the waste of money then all I can do is pray that Benitez brings the old Nando back.

It's not about who we all want, want, want but instead who we need, need, need. It's as simple as this, One big, strong and quick, no-nonsense CB. One big, strong and quick, gritty holding midfielder. One strong, quick, natural goal scoring machine. Then all the little, playmaking talents that we have can work their magic with a strong, no-nonsense spine. For me that is what we are missing and it showed against Athletico Madrid, Man United, Shaktar and Juventus. We just looked a weak and unorganized.
-
Torres? If Benitez somehow brings back the old Torres which I with all my footballing experience and knowledge feel that it is now irretrievable, then I'll eat a 40kg dumbbell.
-
If you knew the shit storm of a day I have been through to get that phone then you would understand how fucking happy that little ray of light has made me. ESPECIALLY after the bullshit that has gone on at Chels. So YES.

Today has been one of the worse days I have experienced as a Chelsea fan. Apart from my Samsung Galaxy S3 arriving, I have felt genuinely upset and sorry for Robbie and all I can say is that this Chelsea Legend deserves credit beyond what words are possible to describe. The manner in which he has carried himself as the Chelsea interim come boss has been admirable and will never be forgotten as the one who delivered us our first Champions League trophy. Trying to hold back my anger in disbelief of the events that have followed out 3-0 thrashing from the Italian giants, I have dug deep and attempted to find what little positives that can be found in the appointment of Rafa the fat Spanish wanker Apart from the obvious being that he is only appointed until the end of the season which after we all expect Pep to take the helm, let's not forget that Rafa has achieved a lot in his career and after all is said and done you can't deny what he delivered at Liverpool even if he is an annoying mug. As for Roman.. jeez.. sort it out my Russian friend. We simply can't carry on sacking every manager that goes on a bad run, it's past becoming a farce and now just making a mockery of the managers, players, staff, club and us the fans who stand up for every decision made by the crazy Russian King. I can never be too mad at Roman though for all that he has given us even if he has just sacked the nicest and most honourable manager Chelsea has had in a long, long time for nothing at all.

If you were familiar with my posts dating back to when I first arrived on this site then you would know that I am not a big fan of Mikel. I think he is an absolute liability and simply not good enough, therefore I do not include him in any future thinking of Chelsea FC.

I still feel like crying at missing the chance of signing Witsel. We would have been immense with Witsel and Rami in the double pivot roles. If we are to rip another expensive page out from Romans cheque book then damn it better be on a top striker. This Chelsea team with Flacao or Cavani in it, plus a top DLP would set us up for the next 2 or 3 seasons.

If anyone has seen Karate Kid 2 then you will understand how much I mean it when I say, 'Nando, You are dead to me' !!!!

Oh i agree, there is definitely a wiff of BS about this story but if there is even 1% of truth behind the rumors I will not be impressed.
-
Not sure if anyone has mentioned this but there is a lot of talk about us looking at bidding on Busquets. Even though he is a great midfielder, I just can't stand the diving cheat. http://www.metro.co.uk/sport/football/915635-chelsea-planning-25m-swoop-for-barcelonas-sergio-busquets

I've only just calmed down over yesterday. What a result. When Spurs went 2-1 up and AVB was roaring like he had won the match my heart sank deep. Though I wasn't as nervous as I would have been last season as I know AVB just does not know how to organize a defence to deal with the Premiership, so goals are always a possibility when playing against a Boas side. Mata was a beast and Oscar and Hazard make me want to jizz all over my tv screen every time i watch them play. Yesterday was a HUGE result and my doubts over RDM being the man for us are starting to fade. He is making some big decisions without upsetting the apple cart and for that alone he is impressing me a lot. Also Robbie just looks the part, soo classy with his laid back, I don't give damn attitude that seems to bring a sense of calmness and swag to the squad.

Who next.... Barryinho ?

Mikel over Romeu anyday in that case
-
Do you not like Romeu? I'm all for giving Mikel that spot in our first team but I really think Romeu should start cementing his place in the team. Imagine if he could find his feet and grow to the best of his ability in that position with our front 4 ahead of him. Only Christmas excites me more.

I disagree that Josh isn't ready. Define to me what 'ready' is! Josh has incredible talent and to say he isn't as gifted as Oscar is a bit extreme. Josh always performed fantastically when given a chance in our first team. He would fit into this new look Chelsea like a dream, with his intricate passing ability and possession football that totally suits his game. How are we to know weather he is ready if he isn't given a long run of games in the first team to see how he deals with rising to the occasion. Oscar has been given these chances and mark my words if Josh had been brought for around 25 million pounds he would be given that chance because Robbie would be put under pressure to do so. I've seen Josh playing a fair few times and from the Mathew Harding Lower stand he looks more than impressive when on the ball.

I was referring to their size of build.. Doesn't take a genius to see what i was getting at. Yes they are very different players but on the ball they both similar in the sense that they have top draw ability with what they do with it. So size shouldn't be an issue when considering weather Josh is ready for first team selection, that is what i was getting at.
