I'm not questioning the ability of Hugo Lloris... but we all know what happens when AVB comes wading into a new managerial role and starts axing players from the first team. It unsettles the dynamics of the dressing room. I think Lloris will get a fair few games this season but AVB will probably give Brad his final season as Spurs number 1.

I take it no club wants to sign him because of his ridiculous wage demands. If that is the case then just release him from the club.... or fly him to the moon... whatever it takes to get the lazy bastard out of here.

So pay Meireles his wages and he plays a fair few games for us throughout the season. Or Pay Malouda to sit on the bench. No brainer!

Can somebody tell me why we have kept and Malouda and offloaded Meireles ? Just doesn't make much sense to me.

Did you see their game against Norwich ? That middle aged American showed why the captain of France will most probably play second fiddle until next season.

Swear I invest a lot of sponsored into my youth academy and it produces one player a decade... The similarities to Chelsea's youth policy are frightening.

I must admit at times last season I was close to tears watching Raul playing in a Chelsea shirt but not once could I ever dislike the guy. He is one cool dude and funny enough had fantastic games when we was going through some pretty bad times. Think we should have kept him for another season as for me he is more mobile and has better legs than Lampard does but hey how dare RDM drop Frank i guess...lol. I would certainly welcome a move for Witsel to join us but when is these fantasies going to end?..... We can't just keep buying a player every time one of our own under performs for a sustained period. We have to start believing in the players we now have, especially after the summer Roman has given us. God knows how Romeu must feel after joining us as one of the most exciting holding midfield prospects to have left Camp Nou, only to find himself deprived of even a place on our bench. Josh McEachran may not be a holding mid but the lad must be scratching his head when last season a Chelsea side that lacked flair and artistry still refused to call upon a technician of his caliber. It's going to be very interesting to see how the fans react when Roman does decide to put his credit cards in the top draw.

I guess Falcao's performance in the Super Cup final has put an end to everyone's desire for us to buy Hulk. Thank fuck for that.

He has the talent and skill but unfortunately just doesn't have the mental desire it takes to become a top player. I had fingers crossed for him to come good but in all honestly the lad hasn't really been given a proper chance to show us what he is made of in the first team like a lot of our young promising players. I saw him in a handful of games under Carlo and I don't think I saw him again until the pre-season just gone, which he played like he didn't feel part of Chelsea anymore. Bit of a shame really, I hope he moves on and resurrect his career somewhere else now.

You are contradicting yourself by saying that Romeu and Oscar need experience but If we buy a new CM in January or next summer then how are those two going to get a look in? It's all well and good to keep buying experienced, proven players but I think it's time to bite the bullet and start giving games to our younger lads and I pray to the two headed elephant that McEachran get's his chance next season. If we are to buy a player in Jan or next year then it should be a proven striker.. not midfielder.

Yea mate... Brana was such a beast at right back last season for us but that if in all truth he was only a beast when we were playing so defensively. I remember when we played United and attacked quite a bit and he kept getting caught out.
