Lewandowski is an absolute beast. The way he holds the line with Dortmunds fluid players behind him really leaves me thinking that he is the ideal choice to fit our assult. Oscar, Hazard, Mata and Lewa would be one freaky attack.

The only reason Chelsea fans have bad rep is because half of the stadium is voiceless in most of our games. Just sit there with bored slapped across their faces. Also most fans give us stick simply because Roman turned up and splashed his millions on making us a dominant force in Europe. It has nothing to do with the way people express their opinions over the internet because believe me, Liverpool have some of the most die hard fans out there and they talk shit in my gym every fucking day lol.

I can agree with you that Mikels best performances in a Chelsea shirt were in the semi finals and finals of certain cups last season but let's face it, the whole team played out some of their best performances in a Chelsea shirt. When the rest of the tewam is playing as remarkably well as they were it made Mikels job a lot easier. This is probably why I don't rate Mikel because when others are lacking he isn't good enough to make up for their bad performances. We can go on forever with this because you clearly support Mikels right to have a place in our starting eleven whereas I desire more from a defensive midfielder. I wish i had a laptop to express my opinions in more depth but unfortunatley I am having to use my Samsung and It is a nightmare to write more than a few lines in each post lol.

I only judge Mikel by the mistakes he makes in the most important games and to be fair I have always said that whenever I have seen him play at the Bridge he has always performed below average. I don't have a personal vendetta against Mikel I just can't stand his lack lusture efforts to win the ball back for our team. When it comes to passing, I strongly believe that every single player in our team should be able to complete 9/10 ..10 yard passes. I would much rather see a Modric than a Mikel in our team alongside a good ball winning central midfielder. David Luiz and John Terry have a better long range passing game than Mikel.

Ok fair point but you really feel Mikel does this well? I don't, players breeze past him like he is a statue far too often. His passing game is not even that good either. Maybe you can't make full blooded tackles anymore but just look at the goal we conceded against Juve when Mikel gave the ball away and then just half heartedly strolled towards the player with the ball. This kind of feable marking and attempt to win the ball back is seen in Mikels game far too often for my liking. Plus you can tackle without having to slide or go to ground, you jockey then use the x button.

I meant to say other than. Mikel isn't good enough. You could say Rami is a DM but he is far more useful to us as an attacking threat. We need to bring in a proper full blooded tackler who can pass.

My feelings exactly. I STOPPED reading straight after I had read the dribble that Mikel has been one of our most important players in the most successful period of our history. He is average at best , end of. People only hail him because he looks like he knows what he is doing in comparison to the other players we play in the DM role. Thats because we don't have any DM players so Mikel looks half decent but in all truth the clown can't tackle and is just pathetic when it comes to shielding a player away from goal.

Lets face it, things are not looking good but we are Chelsea FC and I truly believe that there's someyhing about our club. Call it spirit or call it luck but we find a way to hang in there and fight on and I really do think we will finish in the top 4 despite that challenging fixture list. KTBFFH!
