Champions League Final 2012 - Chelsea 1 (4)-(3) 1 Bayern Munich

How about Athletic Bilbao? -
I seriously doubt Lewandowski is going to Manchester United. They already have Rooney, Hernandez and Welbeck to play CF and by the looks of it they are going to play 4-2-3-1 next season with Kagawa behind Rooney and if one of them is unavailable then they have more than capable alternatives for them. Not to mention Dortmund officials saying for a long time Lewandowski is staying but they were more than willing to let Kagawa go to United.
-
€65 million you say?
-
Apparently he'll be wearing number 17 next season. Huge pressure on him now, after all the number was worn prior to him by the almighty José "Monobrow" Bosingwa.
-
   Not confirmed but would be hilarious if true.

Love it how United fans have already "forgotten" about Hazard and now all of a sudden Kagawa is better and he's the one they wanted all along. They even have stats to prove that: Conveniently forgot to mention there that the vast majority of Kagawa's goals and assists came in the second division of Japan and he's also two years older. Obviously still a fantastic signing for them and a good price too but no need to be delusional.

Who would've thought that the transfer finally becomes official when I'm away for 24 hours with no internet connection.
-
Would love to have him as Cech's backup, there hasn't been a Finnish player at Chelsea since the days of Mikael Forssell. Not going to happen though because as far as I know he's going to West Ham.

Didn't any of you guys read the announcement about off topic in these threads when most of you just go on about Gio Dos Santos and the national team of Mexico in general when this topic is supposed to be about Hulk. BlueLion will be mad at you.

This. For the first time in years Chelsea are doing transfer business very early in the summer rather than wait till the end of August to buy anyone and apparently it's still not good enough for some people. Only a couple of days left ffs.

xPetrCechx, you are really starting to creep me out.

So they've now replaced Lampard and Cahill with Henderson and Kelly. Good luck to England for the Euros, they're going to need lots of it with all those second rate footballers Hodgson has brought in from the team that finished 8th in the league. Too bad for Cahill though, his first chance to shine at international level and now he gets injured in a friendly match. Once again those pointless games are ruining players' dreams.

Marin was announced a couple of months ago and at that time our manager situation was no different than it is now so I don't see a problem there. If everything was done and dusted I'm sure it would have been announced already on the official website with some small interview at ChelseaTV and then sometime in the future a proper press conference with him and maybe a couple other signings and the new manager (or RDM if he stays) addressing the media together. If I had to guess they're still sorting out some minor details and by Wednesday we should hear more.
-
Looks like I missed all the action yesterday but just browsed through SHM's last posts and they were beyond childish and you'd expect a 17-year-old to be even a little bit more mature than that. Good riddance.
-
Of course you are free to see things differently but I see in that picture a man who is genuinely happy for the team's historical success, not some immature kid throwing his toys out of the pram and not even wanting to touch the trophy because he wasn't on the pitch winning it. And it's not like the pricks writing those articles for the media are never telling lies, is it? Of course they know how to ask the right questions and pull from the right strings if they want to make someone look like an asshole, nothing new here.

Clearly Man of the Match material.
-
Scored for the Ivory Coast against Tanzania.
-
Don't really care who wins this, just hoping for the Chelsea boys to do well and no injuries.
-
Now I've seen it all. A deluded scouser thinking Jordan Henderson will outplay Hazard. And what kind of a fucking nickname is "Hendo" anyway? Sounds retarded to me. And why is it that those dumb bastards are always slating us but then Manchester City seems to be okay to them?
-
It looks exactly the same but only in Italian.
-
Maybe it's just that no one wants him anymore when there are better and younger options available for the same price. After all, Essien's reputation is still high and he would want a good wage if he went to some other team so they prefer buying some decent youngster instead for a slightly higher transfer fee but on a fraction of Essien's wages. And if Michael himself is more than happy to stay at Chelsea and get a good wage without playing every week then the only one to blame is the idiot who gave him a 5 year contract two years ago when his injuries were common knowledge. There's still hope left that he will get even a little bit closer to the player he was if he can enjoy a good preseason without injuries. As long as he performs even slightly better than last season he can still be a decent player for the team but not a definite starter like he was before his knees got fucked up. Of course he should still be sold if someone is willing to take him, but I'm not holding my breath

I love it how you already listed Hazard as a Chelsea player. Belgium have such a talented squad and most of them are also less than 25 years old and can still improve. I reckon you'll be challenging the top nations in a couple of years time when your players are more experienced and have played more games together as a national team and maybe one day Belgium could go as far as lift one of the major trophies in international football. I'm so jealous because Finland can't even qualify to the tournaments.

Romeu is certainly not better than Fellaini but he's got the potential and just needs playing time, which he probably wouldn't get enough if we bought another DM. Fellaini however, is more than just a DM and he can pretty much play anywhere on the pitch if needed, but considering the price (+25m imo, check Shogun's post) and the fact we already have good DM's in Mikel / Romeu and Fellaini would only be "needed" in a position he's not natural in I would say there's not much point in buying him other than making Hazard feel more welcome. If the plan is to strengthen the midfield it's better to buy a player who would be challenging Lampard for a spot in the starting lineup, not Mikel/Romeu. Of course there's Josh but I wouldn't be counting on him to be given his chance next season unless the manager is Guardiola, who I'm sure would appreciate his great vision and calmness on the ball. If we buy any more midfielders then Essien and/or Meireles will probably have to be sold first, otherwise it's going to be way too many players competing for those two or three spots in the team.
