WBA fans are jizzing their pants over Lukaku and demand that he starts next week. Good to see him getting a good reception from their fans.
-
Looking very good, unlucky not to score at least once.
-
Cech ©; Ivan, Cahill, D Luiz, Cole; Mik, Meir; Mata, Hazard, Bert; Torres Bertrand on the left wing again. Lampard benched.
-
West Brom looking much better now with Lukaku on the pitch.
-
He's on the bench. Pienaar, Fellaini and Jelavic scorerd for Everton in the first half.
-
Lukaku again on th bench against Spurs. Let's hope he can come in and have a similar effect as he did against Liverpool.
-
Swansea looking good, apart from defending set-pieces. Dyer and Routledge aren't even that good but they fit Laudrup's tactics perfectly and they are constantly raping the West Ham defense.
-
Surely I wasn't that slow?
-
he was great in La liga too, scored 15 for Rayo Vallecano last season and it was his first season in top flight football. Amazing player.

Neither of them. They weren't registered to the squad in time to make it to this game and even if they had, I doubt Di Matteo would have taken either of them anyway because they haven't yet trained enough with the rest of the team. Azpi has one training session and Moses has none. I think both of them are involved in the Uefa Super Cup next week against Atlético Madrid. edit: Slow as fuck, two guys beat me to it.
-
That's tragic. Glad he's turned out okay after that.
-
I think Di Matteo said that Marin is back after the internationals. He should be fine for QPR away, which is on September the 15th.
-
He said that we'd have two centre forwards both scoring 25-30 goals this season. Can't see that happening with either one of Torres and Sturridge. Of course there's nothing wrong with that as long as someone else steps up for the occasion, for example if Hazard can get even close to what he did at Lille last season.

Just hit 1000 posts here.

Holy fuck that's bad business. Coming from Liverpool, that's hardly a surprise though. Initially I thought Liverpool had done very well to bring in a player like Sahin but those terms are just laughable and Liverpool have once again become the laughing stock of the league.
-
That's a nice stat but his primary job shouldn't be scoring goals. Lately his defending has been shit but he has made up for by scoring a lot of goals. I would prefer him to take more responsibility in his defensive duties and if he can still get goals without it affecting his defending (for example from set plays), it's great but a performance like the one against Wigan is not okay and he should be doing much better. Hopefully now that Azpi is at the club Ivanovic will also step up his game, knowing that if he plays like shit he will get benched. A little competition for playing time is always healthy.

The fact that you had to include a left-back and a striker there to make up the numbers clearly shows that Moses is more than needed. Now we have Hazard, Mata, Marin, Oscar and Moses for those three positions and the likes of Ramires, Bertrand and Sturridge can all provide cover there if needed but primarily they should be playing in their own positions. Ramires is a tricky one because Di Matteo doesn't seem to like him for the double pivot and insists on playing him on the right wing, but Sturridge and Bertrand shouldn't play on the wings that often imo. I didn't include Malouda, Benayoun and Kakuta there because I consider them deadwood and they're not in the club's future plans. Maybe we can't get rid of all three within this transfer window, but they're definitely gone by next summer at the latest.

Tiote out? Good news if true, last year we smashed them 3-0 away when they didn't have Tiote.

http://www.chelseafc...article/1712965 From chelseafc.com in July 2009 when Sturridge first signed. Says there that he got a four year deal and that would be ending in 2013, like I already said and like every source is reporting. He hasn't got any contract extensions since joining so it's pretty obvious that his current deal is expiring next year. I would trust the club's official website over Daily Mail and Daily Mirror any day.

Like BluesMaster said, you misunderstood me. I didn't try to make fun of Kalou and in fact I like him and was actually one of his few supporters here. It's just that Mikel and Kalou are best friends and it must have been sad for Mikel to see him leave. Now he gets to have another one of his buddies at the club and that is of course a good thing.
-
There is a problem though, because him tweeting some confidential information about his injury and inability to play in the games gives an edge to the opponent which allows them to prepare for the game knowing how our defense is going to line up. To us fans it's of course great to get such information in advance but to the management it makes things harder. This week I remember United warning that cunt Rio Ferdinand about something similar. He told on Twitter that he wasn't fit to play against Everton and old red nose got mad.
-
Starts today against title holders Dortmund in Werder Bremen's first league game of the season. Good to see them trusting him in such a big game already.
-
He looks like a serial rapist in that picture.
-
@Mikel12Official: Can't wait to have victor Moses join d team haha, very good player and a good lad too. Mikel is now getting his Kalou replacement.
-
Hazard is excellent in penalties and he can easily take them if Lampard isn't playing. If we're so unfortunate to have them both out at the same time, then we're going to have to rely on someone who isn't as comfortable as those two but seriously, how many great penalty takers does a team need? Someone out of Mata, Cole and Luiz is more than capable of being the third choice because they're not going to take any more than one or two penalties a season.
