  1. Shocking to see that some 'fans' have abused him so much today that he was forced to delete his Twitter account which he only created a few weeks ago. He seemed really happy about this new way of communicating with the fans but people said some unimaginable things to him after the Juventus game and honestly I can't blame him if he doesn't wish to read things like that. A fucking disgrace, as a certain Chelsea legend once said.
  2. Piazon translating for Oscar, good to see we have at least some use for him too.
  3. The problem with Torres is that he is simply not good enough to play for a club like Chelsea anymore. A change of scenery could do him good and who knows, maybe he would start scoring goals once again if he moved to a slightly smaller club where the pressure isn't as bad and that is important because Torres seems to be very a weak player mentally. Only problem is finding a club willing to take him? Atletico is probably the only one that comes to mind and while a Falcao <-> Torres + money swap sounds very good on paper, that kind of deals don't usually happen in real life. I can see Milan or some of the other Italian clubs trying to get him on loan but why on earth would we agree to that?
  4. That's just wrong. Torres was average for more than a year before joining Chelsea, but we all thought it was because he wasn't interested in playing for Liverpool anymore and wanted to move to a bigger club. Turns out this wasn't the case and he had simply become a rather shit player after having a couple of broken seasons where he was injured a lot. Falcao is entirely different. He has been on fire for years now and during that time has proved his worth for two clubs in different countries.
  5. It seems more people have now hopped on the bandwagon of the so called 'Torres haters'. After losing the support of the fans I think it's only a matter of time before he fucks off and we can finally move on from this nightmare.
  6. Oh come on, that's way better than sex.
  7. At least we can match Juve's midfield with that lineup. Mikel, Ramires, Lampard and Oscar all there in the middle to keep them busy. However, that leaves their wing-backs way too much space...
  8. Something like this would be interesting to see. Obviously not going to happen at least against a class opposition like Juventus, but maybe someday.
  9. Drogba and Lampard for me. I didn't really get a proper chance of seeing Zola and the others from that era play as I only started getting into football about 10-12 years ago (apart from FIFA that is, I've played them on Playstation since 98 ) and back then I didn't have the means to watch football regularly because my family couldn't either afford or were too cheap to pay for the channels. I watched the games whenever they were on free channels but it wasn't much so none of the guys from that time really made an impact on me. A few years later I got the chance of watching nearly all the games and since then Frank and a couple of years after that Didier have won me over and I'm sure that in the future I can be proud to have seen the majority of the matches these two legends have played for Chelsea.
  10. Essien starts for Real Madrid against Man City. edit: Apparently not true. Fucking Twitter.
  11. This game looks familiar somehow. Expect a Reading equalizer in injury time.
  12. Torres has now played two shit games after that Newcastle match so all games combined that makes probably more bad performances than good ones. Liverpool are shit and not competing for the same positions with us so mentioning Suarez is irrelevant. Also, Suarez is not your typical goalscoring striker but rather an excellent creator and a dangerous player nonetheless, it's not his problem if Rodgers can't assemble the team to suit his strengths but instead he insists on playing Suarez as the main striker which is pointless because he's known to be a bad finisher. Balotelli is like the fourth choice striker for Man City so I fail to see your point there. Our fourth choice is probably Lucas Piazon and he hasn't even got a game yet. City have both Tevez and Dzeko scoring goals, not to mention they still have Agüero coming back from injury in a few weeks. It's ridiculous to compare our strikes with theirs because they're clearly miles ahead of us. Torres is our undisputed number one at the moment and you compare him to a rival's benchwarmer. Don't know if that tells me more about Torres or your own expectations, which seem to be rather low...
  13. Liverpool below the relegation zone after four rounds.

  15. No matter how bad we were today, there's always Liverpool to cheer us up.
  16. Let's focus on the positives here: we are still top of the league. :blue scalf: But yeah, not a good performance today. Need to do much better against Juventus on Wednesday or they're going to tear us a new one.
  17. Don't know about you, but to me Torres walking off before the final whistle gave a pretty clear indication that he doesn't give a fuck about the club or us fans for that matter. Hard to stand up for a guy like that, especially if he plays like shit.
  18. I agree. Disgraceful attitude but I'm sure some people can still find excuses to defend the guy.
  19. Gotta love the negativity around here. Chill the fuck down people.
  20. If we concede, we can easily bring on more attacking players. Have some faith guys!
  21. Pretty much what I was expecting then. Having both of Bertrand and Ramires on the wings could be a bit overkill defensively but I trust Di Matteo to have got it right once again. :blue scalf:
  22. That's actually a pretty decent lineup for QPR, I predict this to be a hard match for us.
