It's neither the worst draw we could have gotten nor the best possible option. Anyhow I'm happy we got PSG, they are a good team but not the best in the competition; they don't really have much history in the knockout stages; the destination isn't very far for our fans to travel and we will get to see some great duels like Terry vs Zlatan.

He is poor in both the final ball and finishing, other than hardworking there is very little redeeming qualities for an attacking midfielder. Still early days but he needs to improve in the final third massively - 2 goals and 4 assists in 27 matches in the EPL/CL is not enough for a club looking to win titles.

Rambo and Willian need to improve in the second half the rest of the team have played their best first half in ages. Hazard; Oscar; Terry; Cahill; Cesar and Eto'o have all been brilliant.

Peno - Rafael in 2 minutes was able to completely go unstuck. Yellow card and penalty given away Sturridge and Suarez combining for the penalty and Gerrard scores United so far are lucky to only be loosing by one goal

The worst thing about the match is the fact that Villa actually had the best chances to score - in the end our ineptitude in the final third cost us. Obviously we will point to the refs - but simply we were not good enough to win today.

I feel he should start - mainly so we can give Eto'o a rest. Eto'o is our best striker but he does need a bit of rest before our crucial matches against Arse and Gala. Either Ba or Schurrle up top against Villa

1) Tell me what posters like Backstreet were - football fans or Torres fanboys. It's posters like Backstreet that made me dislike Torres more than his failure in a blue shirt. You would be hard pressed to find things I've said about another Chelsea player which were not objective. 2) Torres is a professional footballer being paid 175k p/w what is written about him on a forum doesn't mean a thing to him. I've never said I dislike him as a person, I think he is just the worse example of player power at the club and also the worst example of how our board are willing to torpedo our own season for the sake of getting something out of a monumental mistake they have made in the transfer market. 3) People who defend Torres while berating other players. I made that pretty clear in my post. 4) People continuously criticize a lot of players - even if we were winning all our matches I'm sure there would have been people still moaning about something. Torres is not blameless - he made a demand to the board after our CL win and our board were more than happy to indulge him despite the obvious pitfalls of that decision.

I will tell you my personal reason for that. The Torres defenders(fanboys) have berated other players; playing in a similar position - just visit Eto'o and Ba's threads and listen to the type of posts being made about them; you could look at Sturridge's thread in the past; even Drogba was catching a lot of flack before our run to the Final in Munich. We create plenty of chances - now we might actually have a player who can play up top whose movement might take advantage of that. Keep him away from being involved with the build up and allow him to get chances to finish of the moves. Schurrle to play up top till the end of the season. Hazard was also massive in the second half with those two assists. While Cahill has been going from strength to strength in defense. Matic solid in midfield since joining. Still worrying that Oscar seems to be completely out of form, need him to pick up for the title run in.
