I wouldn't say that, it's pretty obvious that Suarez is given more attention by top sides. There is usually a game plan to stop him getting the ball in dangerous areas or someone personally man marking him. Luckily for Pool they also have another striker. So Sturridge is allowed a little more space which proves to be enough for him to get more chances. When Liverpool face a top side they usually play on the counter attack and this is by far the most suitable system for Sturridge to end up on the end of golden chances with his speed/technique. It's no confidence that Sturridge's record in clashes against top sides in the last year and a half is brilliant - he gets more space cause the opposition is too focused on stopping Suarez 11 goals; 3 assists in 15 matches against United; Arsenal; City; Tottenham; Everton and Us I do think agree that Cavani would be the better choice but for other reasons.

All players want to play for Jose If we don't get Cavani and Suarez, than both Costa and Sturridge are next on the list Sturridge has 11 goals; 3 assists in 15 matches against United; Arsenal; City; Tottenham; Everton and us the last year and a half - Jose likes the type of striker that turns up for big matches.

For example I don't mind Mikel, I think he is a decent player and a great character - I think he has been key in several of the trophies we've won since he came to Stamford Bridge. But I just try to stay clear of his thread 99% of the time because reading it would piss me off.

First of all I didn't address anyone personally, I said that people should make an effort to defend all our players like Mikel; Ba and Eto'o which I haven't seen the people on this thread defending Torres actually put into practice. Until they actually do that and I see all our players being respected - than you shouldn't be asking for special treatment for poor Nando. Torres - 6234 minutes(70 full matches) and has scored 19 goals - which is 328 minutes per goal. He is an average striker, who had the nerve to sulk after the biggest match in Chelsea FC history - the sooner he is gone and we no longer have to pay 175k p/w for this average striker the better

I thought he did well in the first half and was unlucky not to get a goal when his shot slammed against the woodwork. Sadly he disappeared in the second half and Jose maybe should have inserted Oscar sooner for him. In the end I can't complain since we won and he did his share of work closing down the opposition and making space for Hazard. Would have been nicer if Willian had looked for Eto'o instead of Ramires in that chance in the first half since Eto'o was all alone on the right wing and I'm more confident in his finishing.
