Actually thought that was a decent performance against the best team in the world and our first game playing our best team. Mistakes and a bit of bad luck cost us - and we should have had a penalty to tie it up. The team needs a run of games to gel in the new system. Toney is so bang average. Jesus - no idea what the fascination is with him here. Jackson>Toney and comfortably too. Felix is a eh signing, but better fit than Sterling I guess. Actually hopeful he can fit in well with the lads like Palmer, Nkunku and Jackson, as less pressure to score goals. He is great at the inbetween link up play bit so maybe his game opens up in this system.

Hot and cold on VO. He has something clearly - but it isn't that 100 mil type player something. I think we've struck gold with Jackson, and now we're going to take away time on the field for him to grow some more.

I actually don’t think a transfer ban would be the worst thing for us lol. Especially if we sort out CB. I think we’re set at every position bar central defence. LW would be nice but that may be Felix soon. Transfer ban will force some consistency of line ups, relieve some expectations and allow a manager time to cook.
