  1. Amen. Ruben Neves will be a star. Think another couple seasons at Porto would do him well, to establish exactly what type of midfielder he wants to be. But I hope we're all over him when that time comes for him to leave.
  2. I have that same line of thinking too.. Relying on Ivan/Cahil/JT is gonna lead to many stressful and depressing matchdays. At this point, is it better for Chelsea to get anyone, like even if they weren't first options in Mustafi, That Swedish Kid from Benfica, possibly even John Stones.. Idk. That's a decision the board and Conte gotta make.
  3. Also, Thoughts on Juve paying that absurd Release Clause in Higuain's Contract?
  4. @DYC. It was nice knowing Tolisso, thinking a nice €60/€70M Release clause will be put in his contract, same with Lacazette, probably higher.
  5. Grinning from Ear to Ear with these quotes.
  6. Yeah Traore is by far and away my favorite of the Chelsea Yoof. I really think he can make it, solid technical base, is versatile enough to play as RW too, and is constantly impacting the game whenever he plays. Just seen Traore's Expected Goals/Assists Per 90mins is 1.01 . I know its still a small sample size, but if He keeps that up, he'll be forcing Conte's hand to fit him into the team.
  7. Agree. Gomes sees the pass, but can hardly complete it. Happy we avoided him, hope we do the same regarding Lukaku.
  8. Traoreeeeeee!! Hopefully he features a lot this season by impressing Don Conte.
  9. We all can't stand him, you'll fit in well to the forum. Welcome! Agree. If at least 1 Premier Defender isn't brought in this window, all of our budding optimism can be thrown out the window. IIRC Conte is only the first team manager, so if the likes of Roman, Emenalo and Co. want give the likes of Cahill, JT, Ivanovic and Baba another season in the first team ... not much we can do except than pray. I love the moves for Kante & Batshuayi, but that backline needs major surgery man.
  10. Batshuayi is so infatuated with Spongebob If it was the Rugrats, he'd have been my spirit animal. This man is going to he one hell of a character I bet, let the good times roll.
  11. Moses will probably serve as Conte's Giachierrini. He's been posted up on the byline this entire half, exactly wher Goachierrini played during the Euros. Will be interesting to see if he stays. Pedro/Hazard will displace him out for sure though.
  12. Holy Shit! Didn't even realize the match was tomorrow! My eyes had been ignoring the "Match Thread" and "The Countdown Ticker" for months lmaooo Let's hope we have a fantastic pre-season, put in some good performances, and hopefully some youth player impress Conte so much so that they are kept around for the season!
  13. No. Not only do I want Inter to keep a hold of him, but he's too similar to Costa, in that he's a Fox in the box. Doesn't dribble a lot, and doesn't really have any crazy physical attributes to his name. Internazionale is where he belongs, hope he never leaves.
  14. Lyon's football factory is ridiculous, Been saying we needed to raid them and that Umtiti was the man, and Barca came through and got themselves one hell of CB. Lacazette, Fekir (still a fan, bad injury spells, only 22! watch him come roaring back next season), and obviously Tolisso as you mentioned. Tolisso, whoever buys him, will have found themselves a star. Such a promising CM, who can be both the engine and creative outlet for his team, picks out the right passes and doesn't get dispossessed easily. If he improves his goalscoring output...Jesus. While my ultimate dream scenario is to someday see Ruben Neves in a Chelsea shirt, Tolisso is another one of the young CMs on that list.
  15. Fair enough, But Nainngolan atleast also offered the ability to score regularly and from outside the 18. And I've agreed that Kante was indeed needed more. But we need even more dynamism/options from midfield, Oscar cannot be starting, especially against the top teams. Simply put, I'm tired of not having enough options, and this mentality that we cannot have any top/WC player on the bench like Juve, Bayern Munich (who have entire starting 11 on the bench capable of a top 4 finish), and even the Manchester Clubs given their signings this window. Two more signings, CB being mandatory, and another LB/CM (whichever) and i think that'll be that in the transfer window.
  16. This simply has to get done. No Ifs, Ands or Buts. If we don't sign at lease 1 Top CB this transfer window.. we're setting Conte up for failure. Batshuayi, Kante, and Kalidou Koulibaly? #MakeChelseaBlackAgain.
  17. Yeah, but offensively he clearly lacks, and won't offer the same output a Nainngolan or even Fernandhino do offensively. That's ok though, I'm not down on Kante at all. And your right, you want Kante to maraud the pitch reeking havoc across the pitch, but I want even more options. Guess we'll see what happens.
