The younger Fabregas never won epl. The one that we had has lost most of his speed. I personally think Pogba is still one of the best midfielder around. But like most player, it is about team system and player around you.

Fabregas is definitely better passer but pogba trump him in almost any other category as attacking cm. Pogba has Excellent long shot, can hold the ball, can dribble past player,and plus he has height and athleticism. Defensively they are about the same Fabregas is actually pretty good in term of positioning but that doesn't matter if you are that slow, you will always struggle to cover ground. Pogba on the other hand simply does not play with enough concentration to be a good defensively.

I thought Tammy did very well leading the line connecting play. I think most of our attacker is better suited to play with a tammy more than a Werner up top.

The problem is jorgi, he is just too limited of a player to play any role. I can't say much about rice but a matic or mikel is kinda what we need. Sitting dm,who can defend and good at passing forwaed

The funny part is they kinda do fit each other, you want a more sitting passer next to Kante . The problem is Jorginho is just a very2 limited sitting passer. I don't watch enough of declan rice to understand his game, but we need a sitting midfielder preferably with better passing skill, player like Matic or mikel would be very good for us

IMO the sad part of talking about kante passing, is that if kante need to win the ball, prevent counter attack, cover ground, and bring the ball forward and pass forward. What is the role of his partner?

Selling player is not as easy as you said, otherwise we won't still have moses, drinkwater, Zappacosta, michy, Bakayoko, I don't know who else still on the book. Of course if you said kante is available for 35 m, you will have offer from everyone.

I absolutely disagree with this. Kante is past his prime that is obvious but he is still a terrific ballwiner. The question that I want to know what do you want our midfield to do ? Probably what do you want them to do is the wrong question, the better question is with the makeup of our team what do you think they need to do.

You are absolutely right saying that Conte has more pattern of play whereas Lamp more of let player figure it out by themselves. My point before here was on that passing map, in 343,the main way to progress in thay system is through your two wide cb and your wb, they are your freeman. Usually your two cm will be pressed by opp midfield or am, so it is difficult to progress the ball, you play only two midfield for a reason. Of course if one of your cm is Fabregas who is wc passer he can still progress the ball. In our current situation we can bring kova who can dribble past player for jorgi and it will help the situation but in that game my bigger concern in on the front 3. They probably will eventually figure it out but right now it is not really working.

Do you have the passing map for our play under Conte? I'll be surprised if our passing map is not similar as above unless cesc is playing.

I am quite confused with people who criticize our midfield. They weren't great but they were fine. My biggest concern is the front 3, probably with time they will combine better but it was all over the place. They don't really combine well, they barely created anything, they can't keep the ball and they can't press. It is weird but Werner and Puli kinda want to play in the same zone, Havertz and ziyech also want to play in the same area.
