Because it does not take a genius to understand how important Kante is for us. It is so bizzare reading criticism on Kante.

It is always good to have midfield who can create but it is all about balance. What you said essentially is to let Havertz play a free role, where he can float around and let our midfield two dictate everything. That is good but what do we give up, no kante mean no ball winner. Can we press? Nope. Can we keep the ball? Nope. So, we got better versions of Havertz but we will get far worse defensively, that is imo not a good thing. Btw he can certainly help with those two thing. Because right now he is not a good presser and he does not keep the ball well. In my opinion, right now Havertz is a good player with massive potential but still just a good player. The team currently being constructed probably not most ideal to get the best out of him but at the same time Havertz is not good enough player just yet to be the focal guy for title winning team.

He has been ok. The interesting part, you have so many people defended him. If Barkley played like Havertz, he will get slaughtered. IMO Right now if you want to get the best out of him, no 10 behind a tammy is his best position.
-
Offensively it was a concern, we can't use everyone injured as excuse anymore. I am not asking for scintillating football but we don't look like scoring at all.
-
The feeling of having GK is pretty amazing

It's important to have idea how to stop your opp especially in big games. United probably will play their park the bus, counter attacking game, if you don't be careful you can have Thiago silva having sprint race vs rasford all game. That is fine if you think you can dominate game and create at chances on the other end otherwise you will look silly.
-
The problem imo is Lamp pretty much want to build the team around Werner + Havertz and move other player around to complement them. Not sure I like this idea but that is what I see so far.
-
Against united it is always difficult. You have to worry about their front 3 in transition plus they keep getting penalty every game.
-
You can certainly play puli and Werner up top no problem. But I want fresher leg plus I want more than just speed behind, tammy offer different all around package. Better holder, and can offer physicality to the game. On LW, it does not matter if we play werner or puli. Whoever fresher should play. One of them can come in later on. In 343,Tammy is actually better than Giroud. You kinda want an all arounder because without midfield support you are tasked to do almost everything.
-
In lamp setup we want a player who stay wide on the right, it is puli and cho. Essentially if you play puli on the left you kinda have to start cho.
-
Werner - Tammy - Ziyech Chilwell - Kova - Kante - James Zouma - Thiago - Azpi Mendy

I think there is a high expectation for kai which is justified due to his fee. But from what I have seen so far he is pretty much jack of all trade master of none. We paid 80 m for potential. He is good at pretty much everything but he is not elite at anything, unlike player like Werner who is pretty much an elite channel speedster. Hence until Kai develop elite skill, it is difficult for him to be very2 consistent hence you will see many game where he wow you but many games that you think he should have done better.
-
He is pretty much can do it all AM.
-
Did he drift middle again vs Sevilla?
-
I didn't watch the game, is it similar to palace 1st half?
-
Havertz
-
He was damn good on the ball last year but too lazy off the ball for a cm, now he is pretty much undroppable.
-
Regullon signing pretty much change everything. He free up son frok wing duty and ndombele started to show that he is damn good. Damn this spurs team is so potent
-
Kane and son combination are ridiculous. Two wc goal getter in ther prime.
-
I don't understand Lamp fascination with Chris.
-
I kinda feel that him and kai play somewhat in the same zone and we also want our rb to tuck in and stay back more so our rw need ro stay wide.
-
Christensen annoyed me big time as so called Ball playing CB. Zouma made more forward pass than him.
-
True but for kepa, any shot scare me.
-
Finally we kinda play the front 4 that everyone expect to play, before that Mount I thought played ok. Honestly, it was as expected. We were very2 good offensively, werner drift left, Havertz push up as no 9, Mount fill in as no 10, Pulisic provide width on the right. All good all fun, all very2 direct. Chilwell i thought was very2 good offensively, Mount pretty much attack inside which free up the left hand side for Chilwell. Here come the problem defensively, because we were very direct we lose the ball a lot. It almost as if we need two kante in the team.

Made a couple good saves but kepa is kepa
