I think Willian has tendency to drift to center but with Ivanovic bombing forward, it kinda make sense. What we need is a better partnership between our winger and fullback. Just watched how Robben play with Rafinha/Lahm their movement is very fluid, if one goes wide one goes inside. That is one thing that we really lack at both wings.

For Liverpool the reason is obvious, they don't have the financial power to purchase WC player whereas Arsenal has Wenger and we know Wenger likes to develop youngsters. If it works out you can look like a genius but if it doesn't you can look like wenger. A couple weeks ago, mourinho said wenger is a failure specialist for not winning any throphies in 6 years but if you want to develop youngsters you have to be patient and hopefully they will come through and if they do hopefully they will stay (nasri, fabregas, RVP ). Player development is more risky than buying ready made player, and if you want them to get better you Have to play them and hopefully they are good enough for your level or you are screwed. Let say we sell mikel and essien and have chalobah in our squad. Ramires is injured and we have to play chalobah as our starting pivot. We can only hope that he is good enough otherwise we can say goodbye to our chance to win important trophy.

Nah if he stays he is going to be our 3th option, basically he is not going to play except for league cup and special circumstances. For young player, playing time is important. I have never seen player improved dramatically while stuck on the bench

I don't think they sat back against us in fact they actually pressed us especially our front 3. I am not sure that works against barca. I haven't watch any barca game this season but last seqson most team that play barca either play narrow deep n counter or high press. Not sure city are that kind of team but who knows, Bayern was possesion based team but they play counter against barca.
