This summer we need wb, city need wb. We signed zappacosta, city signed Mendy, Walker and Danilo. Not sure how can we compete with them.

I am not sure I am than unhappy against Barca. Yes of course Besiktas is maybe easier but this is not the best barca team. They are a flawed team, yes Messi is still great but he is no longer that prime Messi that can almost single handedly win you big game. Suarez is underperformed, their midfield and back are suspect. I fancy our chances as long as we can keep them quiet in the 1st leg.

Psg vs real should be very tasty. I don't think Psg will mind. Their goal is to conquer Europe, there is no better way than to beat the defending champion. Completely agree, I don't want Hazard develop shoot first mentality and turn into a CR. I haven't watched Liverpool lately, only early in the season and last season. The way they setup their offense is completely different to us. I have no doubt if Hazard play in pool system he will look much better compare to what we see right now. He will have more space to operate. Last we play 343, the two midfielder always shielded the defenceman. Whereas in Klopp system both fb are flying forward and the two midfielder also run forward often either to act as decoy or to create width, far more offensive.

Not surprised Liverpool draw against Liverpool, game after European game is always tough. Good for us though that both arsenal n pool draw. Just saw the lineup for city against united, not surprised that Jesus start, he is a much better fit for what pep want from his cf plus against united he is a more willing runner.

Nope. For me the definition of top keeper is the one who save all shot that should have been saved and rarely make mistakes. Sound simple but only top keeper does theese.

Wing back is the most demanding position in term of stamina. You basically need to go up and down the full length of the pitch every game, I am not surprised that Conte decided to rest Alonso since he has basically played almost all of our games

Don't get me wrong. He is still a wonderful player but that young and prime Messi was just ridiculous. You can see every time he touched the ball, the other team defenders were just frightened of him

Completely agree. For me Hazard and Neymar are at the same level. I will put current Messi at the same bracket, 30 years old messi not prime messi. Prime messi was almost at extraterrestrial category. Hopefully we can have a strong enough squad to challenge for UCL because player at this level should challenge for UCL every year.

Just watched pool VS stoke replay. I have no clue how in the hell mignolet did not get straight red,it was as obvious as denying goalscoring opportunity as you can see.

I think city does improve their play a bit compare to last season. That make sense in 2nd year with relatively the same squad. But having a good GK and good fb for me has been the key for them. Last season I remember how they concede plenty of cheap goals from simple long ball. Looks like it will not happen often this season because their fb are not slow anymore. Now they can provide cover for their CB.

We usually struggle against high pressing energetic team and Liverpool is one of the best at doing that. This should be a hard test for our 352. I am not that confident but we are in great form so we'll see

Lukaku,Morata,Lacazette fee are strikers, it is normal for striker transfer fee to be 50 or more. We signed Torres for 50 m, and it was a while ago. Chamberlain fee was around 35. Our signing are all less than 50 except Morata. United are all less than 50 except Lukaku, Arsenal all less than 50 excpet Lacazette, Spurs all less than 50. City signed Mendy and Walker both for 50 m plus I think B. Silva was around 47.5 m. 50 m is not the new normal. This City is like Chelsea under Mou in his 1st term. At that point we outspent everybody on the transfer market

For all the crap that people said about him, from "he is done", or he should be sold, he has proven that he is by far our best chance creator. Nobody in our team can create and pass like Fabregas. With Fab we are not great defensively but without him our attacking quality does not exist.

A very good game. Pretty even, spurs had tons of warning. Lacazete and Alexis have been playing at the shoulder the whole game. As much as English media has praised Ali this year, I thought on the ball he is not that great.

It is important to keep the hypelow . If you hear what the English pundits keep saying about young English talent, you will start thinking that Delle Ali is better than Messi or Rlc is better than Fabregas. Imo looks like Rlc is going to be ready for us next season but not to start every week. He need to be part of the rotation and prove to Conte that he should be starting.
