I watched city against bournemouth this season. Maybe the stats say otherwise but my eye say that Aguero need to play, because unless they got lucky they will not score because this gabriel Jesus guy is not a goal getter and this team need a goal getter to accompany their creative player. Next game after that pep start aguero since the beginning, the floodgates hasn't stopped. Maybe because of the formation, not so sure. I only watched them once after that against Liverpool but Mane got red card so it is hard to analyze the game.

Liverpool problem against the "smaller" side at home still exist, against the better side they can counter press and score at will not so much against the "smaller" side

Maybe for the british player, It looks like they want to play with their friends or something like that. Ox want to play for pool and Barkley want to play for spurs.

Yup agree, anelka can play wide which can make it work and we also play with diamond midfield from time to time with two striker up top. If you don't believe in michy then we should let him go. It is not about whether Llorente is willing to play Drogba role, it is whether michy is willing to stay after that. Maybe one season, if we cannot move him, after that he will unhappy and want to move the next season and we are back to 2 strikers. And remy and way past his prime drogba are not even close to Diego in term quality.

It sounds great but it never works. I have never seen teams playing one striker, having 2 really good striker up top with similar quality and can make it work more than 1 season. Can you give me any example ? If we signed Llorente michy will move maybe to everton on loan, that is what i heard similar to jansesnn. Jansenn was straight away being loaned to fenerbache.

But you can tell easily that he is by far our best player. I think Conte is just being conservative with him because he know his importance to our team hence he will probably start on the bemch against Arsenal

One of the key requirement to play as wide cb in 3 cb system is to be comfortable being dragged wide. Both azpi and rudi can play fb hence it feel natural for them. Christensen on the other hand is considered to be just a cb and it looks like his passing skill is decent which make him an ideal replacement for luiz

If you are saying that michy is incompetent, then we should have sold him. Your 2nd striker cannot be close to your 1st if so, he will leave like Morata. If you want 3 one of them have to be either super old like etoo or they can play on the wing or he is super young. If not he will be unhappy, nobody like unhappy player.

In term of finishing he is better than diego and maybe Morata (have't watched him enough). His finishing with left and right foot are just fantastic but his other part of the game is just head scratching. I personally think we should have sent him on loan somewhere where he can develop and mature.

This, when you are playing with 1 you only need maximum 2 unless one of them can play on the wing. I have said this many times, yet everyone keep complaining that we don't have enough striker.

Finally we are back in UCL. Always love this competition, it allow me to watch different style of football clash which is a fun sight. My expectation is in UCL every year is very modest, do well which mean qualify to knockout round and if we have to lose, don't lose in dumb way (Like the way we lost against PSG, that really pissed me off)

I watched him only once against Liverpool this season, I thought he was ok. He is very mobile and athletic (I think we all know that), need to improve on his distribution. Forget to add, it is better for him to play for watfor rather than staying in here where he is the 4th option. He need to play more to improve his ability. If he can do that, then he has chance to be bought back by us or move to bigger club

Agree, he will be much better next season. This season will be a major adjustment for him. You can tell he is struggling with physicality of the league and how to combine with other player except Azpi

Watching him today make me sad, either he is badly advised of he is just mental. You can clearly tell that his technical ability will make him an average winger but he can be the best wb in the league

Honestly other than against Burnley where I thought his overall game is decent, he has not played well for us yet 3 goals, 2 assists. It is getting harder to judge his game

I think if he can develop better passing and more imporantly better decision making, we will have a monster midfield in bakayoko.

Agree but I watched his youtube compilation and I am not impressed. Some people in this forum slated me for making judgment from youtube video. Youtube video tend to embelish player strength yet I am not impressed.
