Nope our build up is fine. We have played quite well so far, created a couple of fantastic save, and we did not give up any big chance. We should play the same especially close to the end where Hazard move to the right and Zappacosta keep making hard run.

I will wait till he play for 90 minutes and show me that his movement and link up play is getting better. Against Watford, he came on as substitute and his goalscoring record as substitute is actually pretty good. But last time he was given a chance against Palace, he was really awful.

So now when our midfield is overrun, Fab play poorly. That is not new, we know it for quite a while now. I think early in the season,we expecte kante and bakayoko to start most game and fab to come in when we are down because despite his lack of physical attributes he is still by far our best creator. But kante is injured, bakayoko is still learning, drinkwater is injured, and luis is horrible at midfield, so now.cesc has to play week in week out.

People said they'll go backwards because they thought Spurs will start losing their best player but they didn't. They manage to keep all their players except walker which they found a decent replacement in Aurier. It is going to be interesting again this summer if they don't win anything and keep their low salary structure

Can we do that ? For all the praise that spurs get, Pocchetino hasn't won anything for 3 seasons. Imagine a Chelsea manager do that.

I can't believe people want us to sign vdv. We don't need extra CB. I would much prefer for us to keep Zouma and Christensen and spend zap and Rudiger money on a quality wb.

He is actually a perfect partner for Pogba. Now Pogba is injured, Matic and united is no longer the all conquering team. But it happen to every team when your most important player got injured you will not be the same team

After michy performance against palace, it is hard to blame Conte not to play Morata from the start against roma.

Why? Nothing change with his game. In where we chased game like yesterday, we threw everything forward hence he did have to do much link up. He just need to stay in the world box and get goals which is what he is good at.

Today show what we all know about michy. He is a really good finisher that does not change.

Tons of credit for Conte for making the right sub. All 3 were excellent subs. Michy scored 2,willian created 1, and it took zap 5 seconds to deliver a dangerous cross.

IMO Mourinho last title winning squad was fantastic. We can compete with almost any team in term of squad quality. But after that we haven't done really well in term of signing. To be fair our net transfer after that was very low every year. It is difficult to improve your team when you have to sell first before you can buy.

Balon dor has become a popularity contest. Neymar is one of the most popular player in the world other than the messi and CR. Personally I don't care anymore who win Balon dor. It used to be interesting when messi and ronaldo era has not started. Now it is like only these two can win it. Yes both of them are fantastic player but not sure they deserve it every year. Ronaldo will win it this year, not sure he deserve it, not the best player in la liga last season, not best player in UCL, not the best player in euro so it is hard to say that he was the best player last year.

Oh I forget that we sell begovic, Cuardrado and traore. Then yes our net spending is almost nothing. So what people expect ? Us to compete with City and United where both spend over 100 M in nett spend. We all know that there are tons of position that need to be improved in this squad. I am pretty sure the board is not dumb but if they are not willing to spend any money than it is going to be a long and gruesome process.

The amount of criticism at Bakayoko is ridiculous. Hopefully it does not come from the same person who was excited to see him when he first sign with us. I have no problem with bakayoko, you can tell that he still need tons of work even Conte said that his initial plan was to play him behind Matic in the beginning but Matic is gone so Bakayoko need to grow fast.

Our nett spend this season is less than 100 m. We basically only spend on drinkwater + rudiger. Baka <> Matic Zapp <> Ake Morata <> Costa

I don't think we can complain on midfield situation. We have 4 midfielder fighting for 2 spots. 2 just happen to be injured.

Are we going to play azpi in midfield on weekend ? Looks like this year is our unlucky year in term of injury

Kante and Baka are not great technically. Cesc is very unathletic and we always know that he struggle against press. Those are your 3 key midfielder not great against pressing. I don't get how can you compare us with City whereas city has two WC midfielder and fernandinho who people forget was actually more of a box to box player rather than a holder or a destroyer.

I have to disagree, their player is much better than us. In midfield Silva, Kdb absolutely trump our midfield and that is not even close. Yes we have kante but he is more of a destroyer and pep does not like to play with ball winner. At front, hazard and morata are great but they have sterling,sane, silva,jesus and aguero. In this city team, the most important player are Silva and KDB hence pep like sane and stering together to provide width. Both of the are really fast and have no problem to stay out wide. At the back yes we may have better gk and CB but at lb/wb position no way. I wish we sign mendy and walker.
