  1. I would love Hiddink back, in a Director of football role, where he could oversea the entire club, including the youth. With Rjikaard as first team coach where he can concentrate on making our first team the best on the planet
  2. With no positive signs that Guus Hiddink will remain the Chelsea manager next season, its important to star lining up a replacement as soon as possible so that when the new manager starts he will have plenty of time to plan his squad for the next season and conclude all of his transfer dealings. That being said, who is the right man for the job? Well lets look at the candidates: Carlo Ancellotti, Slaven Bilic, Gianfranco Zola, Jose Mourinho and Frank Rjikaard. I think we would be wasting our time looking at any others to be honest except for maybe Steve Clarke. Ancellotti doesnt look like he will leave and to be honest cant really see why we would want him, he isnt really a long term option imo. Bilic is too inexperienced, Zola needs more time before he joins Chelsea and we can dream on if we think Ambramovic will hire Mourinho again. That leaves Frank Rjikaard, and I undoubtedly think he is the right man for the job. He did a fantastic job at Barcelona, they were shite when he took over, he brought in quality players and made them into European champions. They played attractive football, scored goals, entertained and most impotantly, they won games. He turned Samuel Etoó into the worlds best striker imo, turned Xavi from ordinary to world class, and gave birth to Messi and Iniesta, two of the worlds best today. He did all of this without spending enormous amounts of money and laid a platform for years to come. For me he just ticks so many boxes, he is the right age, could be our manager for years, he is available, he has managed in Europe, he has managed one of the biggest clubs in Europe, won the champions league, managed superstar players, he was an exceptional player and experienced international during his playing days and in all honesty is there a better candidate for the job?
  3. Plus he is just absolute class and a definate one for the future, we really need to look after him has serious potential to be one of the best players in the world
  4. HGe is such a class act though, I think any team in the world would love to have him, as good if not, possibly better than Torres imo
  5. Id rather sell him and raise funds for other targets, Diego is a good player but im not sure he is quite what we need and he is very over-priced imo
  6. I agree, we need a manager that we can keep for many years and build around. would love Hiddink to stay but im not sure he will ever be a long term solution. That asks the question if Slaven Bilic is the right man for the job, id have to say no, doesnt quite have the pedigree or experience to coach Chelsea
  7. I think we should loan him again, we have plenty of cover, we could even sell a central defender and we still have enough cover. I think we should get an ut and out left back, maybe a left wing back like Zhirkov who can also play left wing
  8. You cant be the best right back in the world if you are not playing in the best league in the world son! We shall see how well you fair against an English side!
  9. http://www.premierleague.com/page/ActimInd...,,12306,00.html
  10. How when the official stats partner Actim rates Lampard the best player in the league to-date and he isnt even nominated? Anelka is rated the best stiker and he isnt nominated? How can they make nominations for player of the season when the season isnt over?
  11. Similar thing happen in South Africa a few years ago at Ellis Park (One of the venues for the 2010 world cup) 20 people died and nobody gives shit, so I guess tragedies and things like this happen. At least they are giving the time of day to honour the 96. I think the biggest tradgedy is that lessons obviously were not learned from this incident.
  12. I really cant see the logic in buying another world class striker when we already have 2 and only one plays anyway. Would make way more sense to spend that kind of money on a wide player like Ribery, Robben, Messi that type of player because that is what we dont have and will give us more options. You cant really play Anelka Drogba and Villa because none of them are wide players?
  13. I have to agree that perhaps it is time to let go of Riccy, his age and his injuries make it very difficult for him to be consistent when he does play. Dont get me wrong he is one of the best players we have ever had but it would just be such a shame to let go of either Alex or Ivanovic who will be world class players to keep Carvalho for another 2 or 3 years if even that. Remember we have Mancienne as well so it just really makes a lot of sense that we let Riccy go to me
  14. Buck mentioned that they have only just begun talking about possible transfer targets, so im sure his name has come up, whether or not they will actually pursue him only time will tell.
  15. Totally agree with the players wearing suits before games, they are professionals afterall and it looks really smart! much better than when then wear half a tracksuit and an Ed Hardy cap. On the topic of Hidding playing entertaining football, Ive watched his Russian team and they dont seem to dissappoint. At the end of the day, winning football is entertaining football, however you get the results.
  16. Or from what i've heard, the world class, inspirational Florent Malouda
  17. I think Bosingwa has done well but not that well, in fairness its his firt season in England and he has much to learn but he is still quite young. I think Alves is a superb player but cant see why we would want both, one would have to sit bench, Alves would cost about 25 mil so that means we will have two right backs totalling over 40 mil, justr doenst make sense.
  18. Might make it difficult for us to sell him unfortunately
  19. Would love to see Kakuta given a chance inb the first team, we actually have very good talent out wide, they just very young, we have Stoch and Kakua, Joe Cole with the epxperience but he doesnt provide natural width. Malouda is useless, Kalou can leave too, we really only need one natural wide player liek we had in Robben but less injury prone....top candidates...Ribery, Ashley Young and David Silva?
  20. Gareth Barry Ashley Young Sebastian Giovinco Karim Benzema Ruben De La Red Vedad Ibišević Ezequiel Lavezzi Kaka Samual Eto'o Sergio Aguero Karim Benzema Xavi Alonso Frank Ribery David Villa Would love to see any one of these world class players at the bridge
  21. i would play 4-3-3 its really is Chelsea at its best with natural width on both flanks. 4-4-2 just doesnt work for me. So i would do something like the following: Out: Belletti, Ivanovic (sad, but has to go), Deco, Malouda, Kalou (Arsenal can have him), Drogba In: Joe Hart, Zhirkov (reserve left back and left winger in one), Van Der Vaart or Iniesta (Unlikely to get him), Ribery (Yes please), David Villa (again unlikely) With Ribery and Zhirkov we would at leats have some natural wingers, add stck into the equation and a fit Joe Cole all of sudden we have gone from shit out wide to world class
  22. Im n two minds about Drogba, I guess it comes down to how much we would get for him, he is over thirty and injury prone but still has so much to offer. Also depends who we can get to replace him and how the manager, however that may be be, wnats to play.
  23. Benzema is a fantastic player and I wuld love to see him at the bridge, dont think it will happen tho, cant see us selling any of our strikers in the summer to be honest. which means we will probably bring in wide players and maybe a central playmaker. Prefer David Villa to Benzema anyway. I think we will make one big summer signing and im hoping its Frank Ribery
