Ive watched him play since he was at Juventus, and quite a bit for Sweden, to be honest he is by no means a bad player but no where near as good as what we already have. to even suggest swapping Drogba for him is madness. Ibrahimovic requires service to score, world class strikers can create something out of nothing

I agree 100% I would just prefer some more cover in midfield, someone who can replace Deco and cover for Ballack who is aging a bit and Mikel and Essien, you pretty much have that with belletti but i would let him go and bring in someone like Van Der Vaart. Would have loved Gourcuff but we were too slow.

I still reckon an ideal number is 23 players in your squad, thats 3 keepers, 8 defenders 6 midfielders and 6 attackers, then a handful of talented youngsters ie: Stoch and Di Santo taking the numbers up to 25 or 26, we need a reasonably big squad with the African Cup of nations though

Absolutely, not much better but definately better though. He is more consistent and reliable imo had a very good season for Liverpoo and does well when he plays for Spain. Glen is sometimes found wanting defensively but is pretty good going forward, he is def not worth 18 mil and why would Liverpoo want to lose 10 mil to bring in a replacement player at RB who is arguably not as good?

Its never going to be easy against Aresenal, but we do have a bit of a psychological advantage at the moment so yeah why not play them early?

I would like to see us go for a young English goalkeeper as second choice though. Still think Joe Hart should be top priority

They reckon he is worth 76 mil, how is that not over rated? I can think of 6 or 7 strikers currently playing in England who I would rather have ahead of him. Adebayor, Santa Cruz, Robinho, Tevez, Rooney, Berbatov, Torres, Kuyt. They are all better imo, so if these guys are better than why would we want this lazy sod ahead of Drogba or Anelka who are a class above.

Even if we do sign them both a highly doubt Drogba still wont be our # 1 for me he is still the very best on his day, possibly the most effective striker on the planet. Probably is unlikey but it would be serious signal of intent. But like I said earlier it would mean that we need sell someone in order to bring them both in. It might be a better idea to bring just one of these players in and then bring in an out and out winger like Ashley Young. ^ I fully agree, I thik Villa is world class and there are not many in the world as good, very different type of player to Drogba though could work well together.

I agree, he would add that little extra spark we need up front. I think you being a bit harsh on Kalou but I see what you saying though. The only reason I would keep Kalou is that he provides good cover. Would be difficult to find someone as good as him who would be willing to sit on the bench.

agree with what you saying but I just think that Malouda has finally come right and is playing really well with Drogba and Anelka so I cant really see him going anywhere. I have mentioned before that our starting 11 are one of the best out there so I dont rellt hink we need to make any changes to that, just need to sign players to give us more depth and options. If we sign players that expect to walk into the first 11 we are asking for trouble really. We need playuers that can compete for a starting place.

Why would you want to bring in Johnson for 18 mil and let Arbeloa go for 8 mil when Arbeloa is a better player? But hey if Liverpoo want to go for it then im not complaining.

The most over rated player in world football for me, both Drogba and Anelka are better imo, There are many players I would want ahead of him, complete waste of time even talking about him. Where would he actually fit in at Chelsea?

One problem with that situation though is that we now looking at having six attacking players which s perfect in imo, however if you have Drogba, Anelka, Joe Cole, Malouda, Tevez and Aguero they are going to want play and we cant really play them all now can we.

I wouldnt be too against bringing him in on loan like Milan did as a squad player. I think he would do a bit of good for the club and the young players could learn from him. He is very respected and would sell a lot of shirts so why not, as lond as we dont actually buy him and make him a permanent feature.
