Is he good enough to be our number two though? If Cech gets injured (touch wood) will he be good enough to play Champions League semi-finals, crucial league games etc? Not good enough for me

I have a fair idea of how logistically it could not work especially with our training complex, that cost millions to build, being in Cobham, Like I said it was rumour and must rumours are started by Journalists so thats is probably where the stupidity came from. From what ive heard, building a new stadium will not be an option until all resources to increase the capacity of Stamford Bridge are exhausted....I believe the biggest issue is getting people in or out of the stadium which on has one entrance/exit? However seeing as I am not from SW6 perhaps those of you that are from West London can answer whether or not there actually is anywhere in West London that a new stadium can be built?

Quality English players dont come cheap, but I guess its a matter of you get what you pay for....I think any player of his talent and ability in his position wouldnt be cheap either, if we want a high quality winger we will have to pay about 30 million

I think either he or Ribery would be ideal and would probably cost the same

They probably wont let him go right now but perhaps in the summer? Evenyually he will want to go to a bigger club, earn a bigger salary, play with better players Champions League contenders which are all things we could offer so why not?

There has been a lot of talk recently about have badly we need a wide player, however I dont recall anyone ever mentioning Ashley Young? He is English, has bundles of talent and might just be exactly what we are looking for.....although he would cost a small fortune...what are your thoughts?

South Africa we have quite a mixed bunch, most support Man Utd and Liverpool, Arsenal are also quite a firm favourite with their African players....The Chelsea fan base is growing but doesnt compare to the other three just yet, but im sure one day it will, Football is fast growing into a massive sport for us and their is plenty of investment happening because of us hosting the world cup

Have to agree, Arteta is more of a Wide Midfielder as opposed to an out and out Winger which is what we need, what about Valencia or Krancjar?

Well Kalou hasnt really played as much this season as he did last, he has pace and is looking pretty good, id give him a really good run in the first team now that Joe is injured

He is class, very good prospect

I agree, its good to have English players and I know Abramovich and Kenyon are both very pro having English players! We already have too many midfielders though so unless we offload its prob not a good idea bring in either

Kenyon does need to pull some finger out when it comes to transfer dealings, its not really one of our strong points, however we still have much that City don't, and that is we are already a world class side, we have world class youngsters coming through, we are a top performer in Champions League every season and will no longer pay over the top for players that are not worth it! So if they outbid us by paying outrageous amounts then good for them, there are plenty of high class players in this world and they cant buy them all

If we gonig to sell to City then we should milk them for as much as we can! He is good player just in real bad form at the moment, was absolute class last year, this year he needs a kick up the arse! If he does go at least we have Ivanovic who is also superb and Mancienne who is a very exciting prospect

I reckon we probably doing quite nicely now financially! The only thing left to do really is increase our stadium capacity which will increase our income...it has worked wonders for Arsenal

Im all for giving youngsters a chance, and I agree that the likes of Stoch, Di Santo, Mancienne and Kakuta should be part of our firsrt team, however that does not mean they should be first choice just yet....they need to grow and learn from experienced world class players who can win us leagues and cups, and the best experience for the youngsters is to play second fiddle to someone like that! Still think we really lack someone of high class on the wing

So from the looks of things we pretty much all agree that we can win it, we just need luck to go our way

He is a very talented player, and he is young and probably wont cost too much, plus im sure he will be happy to be used as a squad player! I think he could be a very very good player, he is a bit under-rated probably because he was coming through at Lyon the same time as Benezema who just overshadowed him
