I think Alex has proven this season just how world class he is, we have the best defensive record in the league. While carvalho is still world class he is getting on and the injuries are piling up, would rather he left and we kept Alex and Ivanovic who have their best years still ahead of them. Mancienne has shown huge promise and he should definately be part of our plans for next season and the future.

I really dont see why we would want to sign another striker? We have Drogba who is unplayable on his day and a match winner. Anelka who is the leagues joint top scorer and seems to have gelled nicely with Drogba now. I say we sign a world class wide player instead and make Kalou our third choice striker. Leaving Malouda and Joe Cole as our wide players with a new recruit plus Stoch who can play out wide.

I think this man deserves some praise for the season he has just had. He was such a surprise signing almost exactly one year age for 16,8 mil if im not mistaken and in all honesty I didny know too much about him. After only his first season in England, which is generally the hardest, for me he has been absolute class. for almost 10 mil less than what we would have had to fork out for Dani Alves he has been worth every penny. In fact he looks a better player than Alves to me. He is exactly the player we so desperately were looking for at right back for a few years. For me one the signings of the season and full credit to the Chelsea board for snapping him up. Cant wait to see what he produces next season....

Zhirkov for me, will cost much less than Ashley Young, is more versatile, played more internationals and just looks a better player. Would prefer Ribery over both of these players but I guess I can dream on

Why do feel like our board is a joke? Carlo Ancellotti is not the Chelse amanager, nor does he have anything to do with Chelsea so how can he decide who we sign? I have to agree completely with this, Ancellotti manages some of the worlds very best players and you hardly seem to hear them complain, in fact most of them absolutely love Milan. So he can manage the egos. He has an incredible record in the Champions League. To be honest there arent many better managers out there that are actually available. The problem if you bring in someone like Steve Bruce or Martin O'Neill is that they have no experience of managing on the the biggest clubs in the world in teh biggest competions. We need a manager that knows how clubs like these work.

The fact of the matter is that we have been in 5 semi finals in the last six years, regardless of how they have turned out what it means is that we are a seriously good team in Europe no matter what anyone says. Based on that alone im very confident that sooner or later we will win it.

Yeah they beat Real 6 - 2 but Real are shit, lets be honest. We are far better defensively in fact we probably have the best defense in world football. We must just not play into their hands and target them where they are weak. They dont like to play an aerial game, we are bigger and stronger than them. If we can out muscle them and not give them time to pass we shouldnt have too many problems. Have to agree that Joe Hart should be our top goalkeeping target and we should use him like Manure do with Foster. Only difference between Turnbull and Hart is that we would actually have to pay for Hart and Turnbull would be a free signing. Even though we should still target Hart he is worth the fees and we might get a bargain cos he will be a surplus after they sign Buffon and Casillas

I think we could get for a lot less than 15 mil with our Russian connections, be a great addition for the right price imo, can play on the wing, midfield and LB, would give us great cover

Thats the main reason why I like Rjikaard so much and feel he is the obvious candidate. I really cannot think of another manager with the pedigree to become our manager for many years and not just a few months.
