Mata has been woeful. He def needs rest. But who do we get to replace him? Dam you Chelsea for not buying more creative players like Mata!
-
hmmm looks like we are going for a defend and counter attack team? Lets see how it goes.

Welcome to Roman's world. Where taking gamble don't matter cause he got the money!
-
I will say that Blanc did an awesome job with Bordeux.....
-
He is alright, but for our game I still take Ba over him. We are lighyears from the style of game Villareal played last season, and that's where mistake number one came with Torres. Buying a striker that does not suit our system. And we don't know if that is going to change this summer, next summer or in the next decade! So the best bet will be someone like Ba to replace Drogba while Lukaku gets more time gradual or a loan at some club.
-
Going to be great this match. David Luiz and Ramires should receive a nice ovation from the public....that's if David Luiz play, cause Cahill and Terry partnership is looking amazing at the moment! I still like Torres to play. Torres gives more of a team work. Drogba tends to come here and there, has one good game and gets lost for an eternity. He might appear tonight or might not, but I still back Torres to start. The only area I am not sure of is DM. Do we play Essien or Mikel? Essien has been bad since returning from injury and it's understandable. Mikel is ok, but if there was an option I would choose Romeu. I liked the kid and so sad we have not seen much of him.

Frank Lampard lets rip at Chelsea's 'lack of urgency' http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/mar/26/frank-lampard-chelsea-urgency?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+theguardian%2Ffootball%2Frss+%28Football%29

I would be so happy with this transfer. We been missing someone like that since Essien days.
-
I love the press. They come up with some creative writing to sell papers.
-
Funny you said that. Well let's look at another club that has a squad and how they are doing: So we keep blaming the coaches? It was Carlo fault? AVB fault? RDM fault? Wake up and smell the coffee, there is a club that came from relegation and is putting our administration into shame! And do you think they care? Do you think they will do any better?
-
I'm with Henri. I am sick and tired with all the shenanigans of this board. The sooner they go the better. And speaking of a club owned by the people, I love how in Germany they have some similar system. Would be awesome if Chelsea where run like that.
-
Great point, as Guus also got helped from the new manager effect. That over hyped his record. Although I still like his record for what he did with Australia and S. Korea. Same stuff that I like Bielsa for what he did at Chile, and Moyes for his great work at Everton.
-
Looking back at our managers after Mourinho I can look past by Avram, but then they appoint Scolari which after a couple of months they admit it was a mistake. So OK we can take that mistake and move on. Then the next appointment we get Carlo. What happen after 2 seasons? Was it another mistake? Then to fire him to get a total inexperience manager... What happen then, we made another mistake and fire him? How many more mistakes? Such a board would be fired by now in the real world, as you can't expect good things with a record like that.
-
If you don't like it cause I make fun of our ridicules board then I am sorry! But the fact is that no matter who we get, our board will keep doing the same dumb shit over and over again. In order for a new manager to work we need people who know how to plan. They have to detect what is that Chelsea needs what is require and not just throw money at the latest hot thing out there. So as far as I am concern any new manager that comes is already a dead man walking till we fix the main problem.
-
What does that got to do with anything? A forum about the sport, is about to discuss sport and not grammar. If I want a forum about grammar I am sure there is one.....
-
What you mean? I find it funny that instead of debating about something, which is what a forum is about people worry about grammar....
-
Good post, but you are asking too much from our board. If we first can't get the manager situation straight, asking to do a better plan with players will be an impossible task for these lots. I thought they learn from the Sheva fiasco, and then they go and spend 50 mill on Torres. I am sorry but for the Part II of Roman era to work he must first fix the planners at Chelsea. Those that plan for short term, and long term goals. I see that as the most vital part. Because throwing money at the problem will only delay the inevitable.
-
Yup you got it right. But I must wonder, why is grammar so important in a forum? Is this an English class or something? Nonetheless thank you for pointing that out.
-
It would be awesome but it's not pessimism. AVB said it was the culture of Chelsea before he got fired. So no matter who we get I will still be saying, Is He Sack Yet?
-
It was good that this season happen to us because it is a wake up call to the board and Roman (If he still interested in the team) to get their act together and work. Had we had another season like the one Carlo had in his first season we would have pamper the cracks over again, and giving long term contract to those that don't deserve it. This clear out was due a long time ago, but when you are blinded by short term glory it makes the job harder.
-
That's cause Spaniard players are top dog today as I said. Now let me ask you a question, was it like that a decade or two ago? Did Barcelona and Madrid had a lot of Spaniards players in their team as they do today? If no, then you have your answer. If yes, then your point is well understood.
-
And that's why Chelsea sucks, cause the English national team is mediocre at best! We should be having more Germans, and Spaniards the top dogs in today's game.
-
Capello, Deschamps, Blanc and Benitez hurry already and come here so you can get sack!
