Interesting and how do you know most players don't care about his history? Cause I saw Lampard saying something like he is Chelsea through and through. But that some players don't respect that, sounds like an abomination to the club past!

This might just show that besides being a good tactician you need a motivator. AVB was woefull...the way he treated players was poor. Reports are out that Chelsea are after Van Gaal....same situation. Might be a good tactician but not a good man manager. RDM is just the opposite, he has been motivating the players since he got the job. But as far good tactician is too early to tell. We will have to wait for a whole season to judge that.

If I am not mistaken Lampard played next to Essien in the 2 pivot role.... Ramires was more of a winger, even though he is not one, he had an awesome game. It's a pity we don't have true wingers. Dam you AVB for not buying them in the summer!

I would like to know people's thought about having Rangers and Celtic in the BPL? As a spectator I would love to have these two teams in the league as it will add more competition, but there are a lot of components that makes it hard to do.

Yes if we get a new manager we will need this done. Which is why I don't mind keeping RDM cause we won't have this problem. I want the Chelsea blood to managed, because that won't be a problem like a foreing manager with the exception of Mourinho.
