I don't think you need to get results, when the owner backs you "unconditionally" -

For transfer I remember one of the board members (I think it was Gourlay) stating that they had to discuss transfer target with AVB when he came back from tour on Asia. So while he was "assessing" his squad, there was no movement for nobody. And no movement continue till the second game of the PL....pathetic really! -

He tried to demote Lampard, and then got scared and started playing him often till he got injured.....Not so great balls. I know i got cursed out here for saying Lampard should be bench and playing less during pre-season time. And Sturridge was just a player that fell in your lap. Cause I remember the club was about to send him out on loan again. The only thing that stop him was that well pre-season that he had. I guess another sign of poor vision. -
And AVB will do it once he spends big a la Mourinho. That's all these guys can do these days to get going. Can't never be like Hiddink or Bielsa that takes team from nothing and get them playing good with the big shots.
-
No what it proves is that most of these hyped up manager can't do jack with a depleted squad or little money. AVB is like Pep, I think I cover that before. I clearly remember mentioning that Mourinho would be the same with a sorry ass squad. Only managers that can take descent team and propel them into glory has been Hiddink and now Bielsa. Albeit the screw up Bielsa had with Argentina, but he totally redeem himself with Chile. Is like holding Hiddink screw up in la liga with Valencia and such and negate his other great work with Korea and Australia. Most supposedly top shot managers like Mourinho, Pep, AVB and such are shit when they have average squad. It is why I wanted Bielsa. Heck even the Martin O'Neill, Moyes, Harry and such would have been descent choice.

Got a point with the first one, but why bother with player power when you had two transfer window to get rid of some that? Mourinho has some player power today at Madrid, but that's without Raul and Guti. Two big player power that would fall in the Drogba and Lampard category. For youth he has done far worse then Carlo, and I remember clearly wanting Carlo out just for that. Otherwise I would have stick to Carlo. AVB ain't no better with youth in that department. -
What you smoking? Cause I would like some of that if you can see that! :toke:

Calling for an evolution and not revolution. Trying to force his style of high line with a team not build for such a style. Mismanagement of some great servants like Anelka and Alex. Lack of youth integration into the team. Continued support for Torres. Arrogant towards the help of others. And stating he needs no support from his team but only the owners. Clearly AVB is guilty as he stands, but The Big Kahuna, Roman, will have the final verdict. Will he forgive AVB for his sins? Or cast him out of his kingdom? -
Can you change my name to my old one? Justin_3d? It seems like people want to keep referring me to my old username. And now that I will have more time starting March I guess I can start writing back here.

Betis finishing higher? It's like that guy in another post said he wish Bielsa would screw up so A. Madrid will finish in top 4. You guys make my day.
-
Your dreaming kid! Go spend another 40 mill on a striker! Nobody is stopping Mad Men Bielsa!
-
Ops typo! I meant Bielsa.

justin loves Chelsea, but has a lot of neutralist opinion. More like a commentator like Gary Neville. justin says the truth how is supposed to be said. And most often then not justin will get slated and cursed at by their own fans, and fans from other clubs. In the end because justin says the truth he is not like by any fans from any club.
-
Well I came here to boast again how right I was. While you guys wanted your savior AVB and now are in 5th place, my savior Bielsa has put Bilbao in the top 4. While your savior AVB got Chelsea playing like shit, my savior Bielsa got Bilbao playing great. Keep thinking with your delusional ways! :dance2:

Well well well, now Lampard is the weak link???? I remember here stating at the beginning of the season that Lampard should have been bench, and people cursing me out, and all this stuff. I was proven right about Torres, now being prove right about Lampard. Like I stated in the past I am usually right cause most of my opinions are non bias. Enjoy the winter blues people!
-
Why should I? I always got treated like crap here. Never got respected even though what I was saying was right. People here tend to be very delusional.....
-
In the end Justin was right! Well i just came to gloat about that, say hi to my friend Henrique, and wish all the people that liked me some good holidays. I'm in FBTZ.com and Rojadirecta.es under my old username. If you got an account there hit me up. Peace!

Why has Villas-Boas lost his cool? By: Alex Chick When Andre Villas-Boas arrived in England he came with a reputation as the archetypal modern coach, schooled in tactical detail and forensically thorough scouting. A man seeking to eke out every possible advantage through statistical analysis - Moneyball in football manager form. Something of a nerd, in fact. From what I'd seen of his Porto side in the Europa League, he seemed a thoughtful and hugely talented manager. Certainly passionate on the touchline, but always respectful, always in control, and never prone to the histrionics of that other Portuguese bloke who moved from Porto to Chelsea. Jose Mourinho comparisons were quickly dismissed as the lazy fabrication of journalists unable to tell one sharp-suited Portuguese polyglot from another. Villas-Boas set the tone with an intentionally boring introductory press conference in which he fended off the 'Special One' questions by anointing himself the 'Group One'. Clearly, as the season progressed, the differences between Villas-Boas and Mourinho would grow ever-more obvious. Wouldn't they? But something funny has happened. The more we see of Villas-Boas, the more he seems like Mourinho - only without the knowing winks and the humorous asides. To be blunt, Andre Villas-Boas seems rather annoying. First off, he is very quick to whinge when a decision goes against his team. It started after Chelsea's defeat to Manchester United, when he said: "(I'm) very, very unhappy with the poor performance from the referees which had a decisive role in the result." Fair enough, perhaps. It's not like Fergie or Wenger are slow to bemoan their team's misfortune. Any manager would say that. But the anger has grown, and Villas-Boas accosted Chris Foy after Sunday's defeat to QPR, when Chelsea had two men sent off and conceded a penalty. Villas-Boas raged: "I spoke to (Foy) at the end and I was very aggressive to him. I don't care if he's OK or not." Just a hunch: Foy was probably OK. AVB went on: "It's the third time in row where a referee has directly influenced the result for us and we're not happy with this. In three games there have been blatant refereeing mistakes." Odd, since Chelsea had won their last three Premier League matches going into the game at Loftus Road. The rant continued: "Conspiracy theories can lead to bans and lead to you calling us cry babies, and we're not. But it keeps happening." Well, he said it: conspiracy theories. As it happened, Foy got the big decisions spot on. While not on the scale of blaming Unicef for a defeat to Barcelona, Villas-Boas looked very silly. Then came the John Terry controversy. A tough issue for a manager, admittedly, but Villas-Boas hit the wrong note again with his defence of the captain. "John is a player who represents this country to the highest level internationally. He is a player of great responsibilities," he said. "I find it strange when people don't trust the words of a representative from your country." You mean Terry's word counts for more than Anton Ferdinand's because he plays for England? Really? There was more last night: "I think all of the players would like to dedicate the win to John Terry." Terry is being investigated over very serious allegations, which he denies. Chelsea are perfectly entitled to offer him support and resist pressure to suspend him on full pay (as would be the case in many professions) - but their manager should not treat him like one of history's great martyrs. Terry is innocent until proven guilty, but how bad would Villas-Boas look if his captain were found to have done wrong? And to top it off, we had the wild jig of vindication across the pitch after last night's win at Everton, which channelled both Mourinho and David Pleat. Steady on Andre, it's only the Carling Cup fourth round. So what has made Villas-Boas lose his cool? It is tempting to put it down to the stress of his big new job, but there can be few higher-pressure positions than at the most successful club in Portugal, particularly when you are trying to get through the whole season unbeaten. Maybe he is too used to winning - he had a astonishing 84 per cent win ratio at Porto - and gets rattled by anything but three points. Or it may simply be that we were right first time - that far from the studious, reserved image he brought to England, maybe he really is the second coming of Mourinho. -
QUOTE OF THE DAY: "I think all of the players would like to dedicate the win to John Terry." Oh, give it a rest, Andre Villas-Boas. He's hardly Rubin 'Hurricane' Carter, is he? Is it just ED that is starting to find Villas-Boas incredibly annoying? By: ED
-
The Guardian's Marina Hyde issued a typically clear-sighted warning against jumping to conclusions last week during the Evra-Suarez furore. Much the same argument applies to the John Terry-Anton Ferdinand situation. ED does not know what Terry said, or in what context. Nor do you. And no amount of views of that snippet of footage is going to tell you. The man is innocent until proven guilty. However, ED absolutely took exception to Andre Villas-Boas's comment yesterday backing Terry. "John is a player who this country to the highest level internationally. He is a player of great responsibilities. "I find it strange when people don't trust the words of a representative from your country." Past incidents might suggest Terry and trust make strange bedfellows, but they should not factor in this time. But is Villas-Boas really suggesting Anton Ferdinand's word is worth less than John Terry's because he doesn't play for England? By: ED
